We Guard the 110th Tile


Most people think there are 109 tiles in an arena. Actually most people have no idea. But there is in fact a 110th tile... a tile that has been kept secret by a clan since the creation of the game. On June 1, 2007 the tile was revealed, and pwnage from its guards was being unleashed across Legends Server.

However, come 2009, 110th along with many other competent clans across Legends came to a hault when the server crashed. Nonetheless, that hasn't stopped us from continuing our legacy. 110th has now moved over to Great Lakes in hopes of sharing the clan's vision with FPS players.

Welcome to the website and forums of the 110th Tile Guard. We are a clan on Great Lakes Server of the online game Tactics Arena Online. If you are at all interested in this clan, please read this topic as it contains all the important information about the clan.

About the Clan

The 110th Tile Guard is clan unlike any other. Contrary to other clans, we are not based on stats, skill, or vetness. A clan should not be simply a group of people with high ratings or reputations. The primary purpose of this clan is to work together to become the best. There are several main beliefs to this clan:

Active Clan Forum- As a clan we need to be really tight. This can only be accomplished through a very active clan forum. In this clan we cannot be simply clan-mates; we must be good friends. In this clan forum we share our complete TAO strategies and give advice among each other. We also share bits of our real life and truly get to know each other. This is our priority as a clan.

Teaching Newbs- Teaching newbs is important not only for the success of this clan, but also for the game. In battle we give tips to new players. These players are the future of the game, and therefore are key future clan members. By teaching beginners we hope to find and get recruits for our clan.

Pwning Vets- Winning is overrated, but it is why we play this game. We are not scared of anyone, and quite frankly we have no reason to be. If anyone wants to challenge us, they are more than welcome to bring it.




Clan Rules

Loyalty- Members of this clan must be completely loyal to this clan. This does not mean you can't have accounts in other clans, but this clan must be your priority. We share a lot in our clan forum and this can't be done if the people we are sharing with are the very people we want to beat.

Dedication- Members of this clan must be dedicated. This means you should be active on the game and forums. Real life is a lot more important than an online game, but you should be willing to put some effort into being a member of this clan.

Honor- Members of this clan must have honor. This simply means: do what is right. We do not have tolerance for those who cheat and scam. Respect your opponents whether you win or lose.




Clan Ranks

Leader- A leader is one of the people in charge of the clan. Leaders have the final say on clan decisions.

Co-leader- A co-leader is also one of the people in charge of the clan, but co-leaders do not have as much authority as leaders do.

Recruiter- A recruiter assists with clan invites and helping members, but recruiters do not have as much authority as co-leaders do.

Member- A member is a person who has truly joined the clan. Members are not simply in the clan, but are actually part of it.

Guest Member- A guest member is a person who is in the clan on an account, but does not wish to completely commit themselves to the clan.

Recruit- A recruit is a person who simply had an account invited on the game. Recruits will be expelled if it is decided they do not benefit the clan.




Joining

Before deciding to join you should think carefully about whether or not this is the type of clan you want to join. You are committing to a lot if you decide you wish to be a member. If you are unable to commit to the level of loyalty and dedication that is required then it would be wisest to pass on this clan because once you leave, you will not be allowed back in.

Benefits- Members of this clan are more than just clan-mates, we are friends. In this clan you are more than simply a number, you are part of a serious group of friends. There are also obtainable leadership positions given to the loyal members.

Process- To be a member of the 110th Tile Guard you must have an application accepted. To do this, first register on these forums with the forum name you are most commonly known as. Then you will need to apply in the applications forum. Once you apply check your thread often as you will probably be asked a few questions.

If you do not wish to commit yourself to the high level of loyalty required, you can still be let in as a guest member.

Finally, our recruiting process allows us to invite players into the game, as a recruit, without them applying. You will need a tryout by a leader or co-leader before being let in as a recuit. Note, we are not so much testing for skill as we are checking your attitude. To be given a tryout we would prefer you to be 1000+ stats which shows some dedication to the game. You can still apply to be a member on the forums with any number of stats.



Diplomacy

The 110th Tile Guard does not believe in having allies or enemies. We are friendlier with some clans and less friendly with others, but we not wish to set labels on clans.

War Policy- We do not settles arguments between clans with clan wars. Clan wars cannot solve problems or even show who's better as there can always be luck involved. We do accept friendly challenges, but all disagreements will be settled through discussion.
