Excerpts from the dreams of a Magi
I stand upon the edge of a great cliff that towers over the world A calm wind rushes past, so sublimely infused with the wonder of the mind that it scarcely feels less than the first wind, the first power. I look out over that vast expanse of existence. And the wonder takes me. I who have seen it all I who have looked into the sightless eye of the abyss I who have called down forces of the like that inspire the gods. I wonder at this view. That spark of existence burns in me, Still it lights the towering infernos In my mind Fear the day that it doesn’t, for that is the End of all things. I stand on this great precipice over the world And I know in my hearts essence that the day comes. The day when I will leap into that void. And I wonder at it. I stand looking from this height over the world And I wonder ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- more shall follow perhaps. fairest days, <.?.> |

very good. i have become quite good and reading and writing prose. it is one of those few things that brings me joy and happiness. putting my soul into these works, allowing me to vent all the things that have been going on. i love it.
