The purpose of this topic is to list anything that you may have learned within a random moment.

I have learned. . . just now that
  • Jasmine tea is a sugar tea, not a honey tea.
Some teas taste better with sugar than with honey, and some taste better with honey. Jasmine tastes MUCH better with sugar. I just learned this when I tried it with honey. It doesn't work. Honey overpowers the Jasmine's dreamy floral fragrance, and it seems to add to the bad aftertaste that the tea has when made too strong. Sugar adds to the fragrance (seemingly), and it (when a lot is added) overpowers the aftertaste.

I happened to learn in this past moment, that it is ill advised to partake of a tea tree chewing stick (basically a toothpick, something I'm rather fond of fiddling with throughout the day) and coffee at the same time, not only do the flavors combine to make something less than enjoyable, but now my chewing stick tastes like coffee....ick.....

course'...after reading flames post...I'm thinking about mixing my chewing stick with a cup of tea......

anyway fair days to you (and by no means am i trying to set a trend of this being all about foods, really.....please don't just turn this into a foods post....)

I've also learned that, the average speed of a housefly is 4 mph, and the tounge(sp) is the fastest healing body part that humans have.

"give a man reason and he'll ignore you, put a gun in his face and he's a star student"

I don’t rightly know where that came from, but there it is
also, I’ve learned that you shouldn’t mix shimmer with, well, people... like oil and water -- they don’t mix and then you wind up with burning water.
