So what is The Institution? A safe haven? A prison cell? A government testing facility? Once someone graduates from Stage Four, they're never seen again. How do we know they've moved on to the real world, or... what?

the front lawn. it's a pretty place; very large and open. there usually isn't many people around here, most prefer the back, but it's a nice, peaceful area to sit and read or have a conversation.

the pond. located right in front of the main building, it's a large pond with tons of nicely-sized fish and other forms of wildlife... it's preferred that you don't go swimming in it, but some people just like it better than the pool.

the courtyard. it's almost like a patio for the huge backyard; no matter what back door you exit from- given that it's on the first floor, of course- you'll find yourself in the courtyard. there's lots of nice flowers that always seem to be in bloom, enough benches to seat the entire population of the place, and that calm atmosphere one sometimes needs.

the pool. it's sort of green, but it's really big and always seems to be just the right temperature, even in the winter. take a dip, if the lack of cleanliness doesn't bug you.

the forest. the front and back lawns are lined with a nice, visually pleasing fence, but past that fence is a wild forest. animals can be heard- and sometimes seen- at night. it's not a great place for an afternoon stroll, but if you insist...

the carnival. the thing sort of popped up one night, and ever since people have been taking advantage of it, playing games, riding rides, and taking in the atmosphere for what it is- for you never know when it'll just disappear, right?
