Flash is one of the coolest animation software I've ever come across. Flash has it's own programming language called ActionScript which has a similar syntax to that of Javascript. In the tutorials we post here we will be covering Actionscript as well as the basic Flash functions.
Flash can be used for various things including but not limited to, Portfolios, Image Slideshows, Full Websites.
In these forums I will start out by teaching you how to navigate through flash because when you first open it up it is a little overwhelming. I remember the first time I opened up flash I felt like closing it right after because it looked way more complicated than it really is. This program is a very easy program to learn how to use. I will start out with very basic things, and we will work our way up to using taking images from photoshop, importing them into flash and animating them to make full flash websites.

The version of flash that my tutorials will be based on is Flash MX but these will also work on Flash 4, and 5.
