Personality – Meron von Hetzel is a scheming politician who loves to be in power. He will do almost anything to be at the top of things and rule over it, and at the same time, gain profit from it. An experienced man in the world of politicking, he knows how to keep his cool when in public. However he easily gets agitated once he hears the name of Lytol. He hates Lytol, with a passion. The jealousy simply motivates him.

Meron may look pretty negative at first, but he does have a few positive campaigns as well. He is a patron, an avid patron of artisans' works, whether they were made by commoners or the what, he doesn't care. Artisans are different from commoners, he believes. Beauty is beauty. A self-proclaimed "guardian of beauty", he will shun away anything unsightly or make something ugly beautiful by ordering his retainers to 'beautify' it.

Oh, and how he hates commoner scum. Filth as he would call them. He believes only nobles have the right to rule in society, as they are the most beautiful ones of all.

Physical Apperance -- He is a short, obese and balding fat man who has a very large belly that literally bulges out, which is one of his most notable features. He has slightly squinted eyes, as if he were always smirking, and a brown mustache. He still retains some of his brown hair at the sides of his bald head, and oddly enough, he has a ponytail, with a pink ribbon attached to it. Beautiful, he says. He also has a large, flat nose.

His garments are beyond what most Aspyrian nobles would dream of having. His cobalt-colored robe is made of the finest Devon silk and his pink sash and leather belt are from Rahleja. His shoes sport a unique color as well. He had them dyed pink, from the original brown leather color. To top it all of, he has a dirty white colored mantle, which is believed to have been tailored in Aspyre, with various embroideries. Lastly, a ruby gem acts as a clip to hold his mantle together.

Hetzel Signet Ring - A family heirloom passed down from generation to generation. It is gold, with a green gem attached to the ring.

Landlord's Scepter - He loves to sport around this scepter, making him look like a lavish landlord. Sometimes he whacks his peasants with it, as the scepter is a very blunt and thick rod embroidered with jewels.

Trivia
- If he sees anyone trespassing in his flower garden, he arrests the trespasser immediately and puts him to work, without pay as punishment.
- Always brings guards along with him.
- As a 'guardian of beauty', his manservants and maidservants were personally chosen by him as the most 'beautiful' lot. He even has 'relationships' with them sometimes. Authorities assume his servants were brought into Aspyre through human trafficking.
