Title: God - Exist Or Not?
Description: Does God really come into play?

Acer - July 24, 2005 01:37 AM (GMT)
It's interesting to watch the relentless march of physics and cosmology gradually constricting the area into which God can enter the equation.

Some scientists claim to now be able to piece together much of what has happened since the so called 'Big Bang' and to be able to show that no supernatural hand is required for the universe to have evolved as it has.

But if we explain the 'Big Bang' as a singularity, how then do we explain the existence of a singularity? And if we agree that mindless processes arising from certain universal laws have led to all we see about us, does it not pose the question of the origin of these laws themselves?

It must be remembered too that the 'Big Bang' itself is still theory, despite its widespread acceptance in current scientific thinking.

Those who believe in some kind of creator or guiding force in the universe cannot prove its existence any more than those who do not believe can disprove it. The word 'faith', used to describe religious belief, pretty much sums up the crux of the issue.

The idea of a god in the christian sense is ludicrous in this day and age. Some believe in some divine force that holds the universe together but I don't believe that. For me, the universe operates on chaos and coincidence on a vast scale. We are here by chance, and it is pure chance and nesscesity we have evolved this way. But that is all very subjective.

Indeed. We were created, thus, advancing our way through these years from the past, the earlier dangers, the wars, the 1900's, and now, the 21st Century. The present. We're holding a big future ahead. So what do we expect from our lives? Or will God appear in the future? These are questions that needed to be answered by these experts when they have discovered something.

OF COURCE HE EXISTS!!! HOW WOULD WE STILL BE HERE IDIOTS!!!

god is everything, everwhere, at everytime! he will always be with us! its like saying

"are we reality?"

To test that out, just slit your wrists!!!

morons....

Nyrlathotep - August 6, 2005 10:03 AM (GMT)
Ok, that made very little sense. I am guessing that you believe in a god. Why is this? What proof do you have? At least give me some philosophical reason that you think this, it is not enough to simply say, 'God is real, if you don't believe it fuck you'.

Acer - August 8, 2005 01:38 AM (GMT)
Yes, Turok. You must explain more about why would God exist in the real world. People are seriously replying if God doesn't exist or does he? You'll never know if you looked in the bright blue sky and see Jesus there for some god damn reason and say to you: "Do not believe in those stupid people that don't believe in God. I am still here. You must prove to the public that I'm real."

Then everyone will start commenting about this issue whether it's true or not...

And what reason have you to believe this? Have you had some kind of religious experience, or is it just what you were brought up to believe?

TheInvisibleMan - August 16, 2005 12:12 PM (GMT)
Apparantly it's more of a gut feeling, an intuition, if you will, that science cannot explain, nor most other things.

Sometimes this leads you to believe in God, or not believe.

Hyper_Vegeta - August 16, 2005 04:22 PM (GMT)
no. Everything about god seems so... impossible.

TheInvisibleMan - August 16, 2005 04:30 PM (GMT)
Theoretically, though, if God is an all powerful being, anything is possible.

It boggles the mind.

I have my own opinions, but I won't share them here just yet.

What do you mean by God seemed 'impossible'? Please explain, Hyper_Vegeta and give details.

God is our creator so he exists. Otherwise, we could not possibly have got here, right?

Violin Master - August 14, 2006 06:49 PM (GMT)
God does exist, no doubt. :)

Okay, I'll ask you a series of questions and I need you to answer me, but you have to be brutally honest with me.

Q1: How do you think that this whole Universe was created, with its planets, creatures, us, plants, animals, sun, clouds, etc...?

But remember, be honest and you'll see how this will lead you to fact that there's a God, and only one God.

Q1: How do you think that this whole Universe was created, with its planets, creatures, us, plants, animals, sun, clouds, etc...?

To be honest with you, I don't really know. We need to research the whole thing on how the entire universe was created by itself EONS and EONS ago. With the planets that were formed in space, the stars, and everything else related to space.

For creatures and animals, they were made entirely by being born in species and such.

For human beings, human life was probably formed back in the B.C / A.D era when it was first started.

For plants, they were probably made by people that wanted to have plants.

For the sun and clouds, the sky was formed from when the planet Earth was formed.

Although I'm not sure about all of these, I don't REALLY know who created the whole entire universe. It's a TOTAL mystery, that's for sure.
