Title: MOTM Official Sig
Description: for now...

Turok - January 5, 2007 10:31 PM (GMT)
untill we get some graphic organizers in this place, I would like to post the MOTM sig that a clan in my arsenal uses.

it looks like this: user posted image

so, when you win the MOTM, PLEASE post here and tell me which month you were in. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners are used.

Thanks!

Turok - January 9, 2007 11:28 PM (GMT)

Gotcha. Thanks for letting me know.

That would be for January then. Not bad.

We especially need Graphic Designers around here to make these "Official Member Of The Month" images. ;)

The MotM competition is due to return soon, and I have made us a new winner's signature. I plan to customize it with member's name and the months that they won on, for each winner as they win it. It was based partly off of the version posted up earlier in this thread by Turok, but also was based partly off of the main banner. Here it is:

Perfect. It'll fit the new skin as well.

I looks cool, but I would prefer it a bit taller, as its kind of hard to see the smaller text.

On this topic... I know of a good modification that could be used for the forums, that puts awards in the mini-profiles of members. What I mean is - say, for example, that Turok got member of the month for August - well, this code would put that in the bottom of the info that appears to the left of all of his posts.

This is a really useful mod, but it requires an admin to constantly update it every time someone wins something...

I'll give you a link to the code if you are interested. In the meantime, I'm going to test out the code on the Test forums to see if it is as good as they say it is...

- Looks good. But the text could be a bit taller and such there. The green could be a bit dark, but it still looks good.

- Nice... there's a good modification that could be used for the forums... that puts awards in mini-profiles of members? There's a code for that in InvisionFree? Very interesting. A useful mod, hmm? Nice. Yeah, give me the link to that code... and yeah, test out the code on the Test Forums... lol.

Unfortunately, I lost the files to that MOTM signature some months back when my hard-drive in my old laptop broke. I also lost all my notes and anything to do with that code that puts awards in the left of people's posts. I'll try and find it again, though - I think I might have left myself some notes in the test forums for if I were to ever pick this up again. ^_^
