Regarding About SergeIM!, Do you even love or hate the guy?!

The question to all of you is... do you like him? Hate him? Eh, you are undecided? You don't really know for sure? You don't really care? Or other? What other reasons on why you either like or hate him. Thank you and enjoy this poll!

For me, it's pretty much just another member of some forums I'm a part of. We talk, yes, and he doesn't bug me too much even with bad grammerz and spellingz and spamming my inbox asking me to join Gaming for Counsels version 22.9. We get along ok but frankly I wouldn't describe him as good friend or hated enemy.

I can see that. So you're pretty much neutral with him, despite all of the damage that he's caused to you? And you don't really care about that? Now that's respect.

In the end, he's caused a lot more damage to a lot more people like Mr_Smith. All he's done to me is send me a few unreadable or random pms and have me join almost every single of his forums. These things aren't really enough to piss me of. I can, however, understand why somebody would hate him.

He just hasn't done too much to me, that's all.

Meh. He's not the greatest person around, but I don't really love him and don't hate him. Sure I have my dislikes about him - like his habit of making forum after forum but not really managing any of them properly. And his spelling/grammar issues are a little bit of a pain (but then again, I guess I'm just kinda used to that sort of thing). The only thing that gets me is his annoying habit of advertising his forums at every and any possible opportunity, and his habit of posting the wrong things in the wrong places. But otherwise, he seems like a cool enough guy, and I have nothing against him.



BTW - isn't it a little disrespectful to make opinion polls about other members? Especially when they aren't really around to defend themselves...

- It's true that one of his extreme weaknesses is his typing skills and not clearly communicating in English properly. Yeah, he's seriously from Las Vegas, Nevada. I wish an earthquake can rock his ass out, along with his Russian drunken mother of all sorts! !

- Yeah, he did screwed up your own forum, even taking the Maintenance Mode off from it WHILE you're still on your summer vacation to Sweden. I can see why you have so much hate on the guy. !

- Hmm, you do have your own reasons why you banned him from your own forum community, "Graphic Geeks". Of course he won't return, and obviously, he did destroy, not one, by TWO of his Gaming For Consoles forums, BOTH from the SMF version. !

- It's sad, eh? Attempting to destroy yours WITHOUT your permission? That's what I call an irresponsible "jerk" that you call him. !

- "American Idiot". Ha, owned. It's funny how you say it. But it's unfortunately sad at the same time that he clearly can't spell / type, and communicates like an "unclear Russian". Do you even see his pictures? Man! !

- Yes, that's the result of causing a lot of frequent damages to these particular people, like Mr_Smith you mentioned there, and countless others. Well, I guess a girl like you, you don't mind these "random unreadable" private messages and asking you to join his forum communities, because you like joining forums, as far I can tell from your own standards. You don't really care at all, so that's good. It is what's best for you that counts. Following him favours or not, that's entirely up to you. Yes, there are reasons for people to understand why somebody, anybody, nobody would either hate him or not, depending on their tastes on the guy.

- Yeah, nobody's perfect around these days. It's all right if you don't really love him or hate him for that matter. It's true that you have your dislikes on the guy like making forum after forum after forum, and so on, and it's unfortunate that he doesn't make a point on managing them all. He should had just manage ONE forum, that's all it matters. Again, sergeim doesn't listen to their "advisors" and kept on making multiple "Gaming For Consoles' forums. He has now made one in ProBoards, one in InvisionFree/ZetaBoards, one in RunBoard, one in ForumArena, three in SMF For Free (Two got hacked / taken over), and many more. Yes, his ridicious amounts of errors from the issues of his spelling/grammar/punctuation are indeed a bit of a pain, but once you get used to these improper English typing skills he has, you'll be fine, if you can understand them, that is. Yeah, his con on advertising his own forums in every other possible, either by advertising the whole boards in a certain thread, private messaging random members about it, and many more. That's the WORSE thing ever occurred from that standpoint. Indeed, he does have another bad habit of posting the wrong threads/posts in the wrong sections. Well, he does seem a bit of a cool enough edgy guy to like him, and it's good that you have nothing against sergeim as well.

- Yes, you are right, but just technically right on making opinion polls about other members. It's unfortunate that the person aren't really around to defend himself/herself for that matter, so yeah. But, this is only an exception on sergeim. If you see what I mean, other members at HIS own forum, particularly at his ProBoards forum created THEIR own version, similar to this. I really don't like it when he makes a forum, he wants to have many forums and yet I really believe he doesn't know how to manage a forum. We can help but, he keeps on trusting strangers.

And he wants members to be active in his forum. He keeps on sending PM's like, be active and etc..

His forum felt the success, for a short while after that, it got hacked and hacked and hacked.

Sergeim just quit the net or do more GOOD AND NEEDED IMPROVEMENTS.

Agreed, well said Kitsune. SergeIM should spend more time looking after and working on the forums he has, instead of making new ones all the time. I suppose it is a shame he had to go through hackings, as they can be really annoying to have to put up with (a community I used to be a regular on had to go through numerous hackings as well...) but I suppose it's like the ultimate test for a community - if the community is poor, then they will die off as they deserve to. But if they manage to pull through, then they are obviously strong indeed and deserve to keep going strong. But that's just my opinion...

May I point out, though, that not all people with Autism are bad people. There are those out there who have it, and are really good people. Oh, and I have it as well - and I can speak and type English fine. But not everyone is the same, as SergeIM has proven to us.

Strangely, SergeIM reminds me of someone on a forum I help co-run known as Digimon X-Evolution (well - now known as Digimon Revolutions) called OmagaAlpha - they both have the same spelling and grammar issues - but I dislike Omaga more 'cause he stole a forum skin from me without asking me first.
