Nate and Serena kiss at the White Party to make Catherine and Dan jealous. Dan sees and is furious, because he can't believe Serena hasn't changed. However, Dan himself has been screwing two other girls over and they come to spill their drinks on him. Now it's Serena's turn to be righteously angry.
Thursday-Chuck/Ed and Blair/Leighton filmed alot of scenes together at the house the day I was there. James/Lord Marcus is obviously going to make a play for Blair. There is a scene where Chuck "quizzes" James on how much he really does know about Blair.
-Somehow the heart on the sleeve pin winds up with Lord Marcus/James. I don't really know too many details about this part but he somehow gets it.
-Serena will go to the white party with Nate so he can see Catherine and her husband.
-Nate apparently jumps out of the house and Catherine throws his clothes after him.
-Dan winds up at the house in the Hamptons and CeCe shows "uncharacteristic" kindness to him.

"By the end of the series, I think they got so bored writing the same things for 12 years, they were like, 'Let's just make 'em all gay,' " Penn says. "Chuck ends up gay and has a monkey on his shoulder that dresses in similar outfits." Oooh, please tell me that's true on the show, too.

Bad news: They so are not long for this world. (Wah-wah.) Meanwhile, Nate's dad continues to be a schmuck, and Nate continues to be the man of the family. Inside sources are spilling on the latest romantic entanglements on Gossip Girl’s Upper East Side, including news that the show’s original golden couple, Nate and Blair ("Nair"), aren’t reconciling any time soon—thanks to a certain new cougar who’s ready to pounce.
This pretty (older) kitty is none other than Mädchen Amick (ER, Viva Laughlin), who, according to CW insiders, will appear in the season premiere on Sept. 1 and is expected to hang around for four or five episodes.
Word is, Mädchen is heavily involved in Nate’s storylines and also has “a surprising connection to another new character on the show.” (The kind of connection that juicy twists are made of...and that's too good to reveal.)
Still, if Chace Crawford (Nate) has his way, this won’t be the last of his love interests. “Nate’s kissed every girl on the show, and I think it’s going to keep going toward that direction,” he dished to me at a recent CW event. “Well, except Mrs. Van der Woodsen, but give it time!”
As for Queen B, don’t feel too sorry—she’ll have another boy to keep her occupied all season long. “You’re not blind. You can see there’s chemistry [between Blair and Chuck],” Leighton Meester [Blair] told me while shooting her upcoming guest spot on HBO’s Entourage. “It’s cute. But I think this time around it might be different because the first time it was just like this drunken, passionate thing, and it just went away, like, the very next day. I don’t think Blair really wanted it, but maybe this time she does. Maybe she needs him. Maybe he completes her.”

What does this mean for my fave shows like Gossip Girl?According to my inside source at the network, there is some truth to the rumor. There have apparently been some talks with potential replacements, and the scuttlebutt is that Ostroff is looking for a new gig. Apparently, one way or another, regime change at the CW is likely to happen sooner rather than later. As for Gossip Girl, fear not. There isn't a chance in Hades any new prez would kill that show.

Gaaahhh! I know, I know, come here and I’ll hold you. Sources tell me that in season two, Dan and Serena will be up and down and all around and everywhere except happy coupledom. The crazy-good news, though? Bluck or Chair or whatever you want to call them are so on. Apparently, the producers have noticed the crazy-good chemistry that lies within that naughty-by-nature duo, and there'll be much more of them ahead. I'm actually told they will be "the couple" moving forward. (Holler if you’re happy in the comments! I’ll meet you there.)

In the season premiere, we'll see that there is a lady in Nate's life, and she's all kinds of trouble, and she's...not Serena. (Or Blair!) More on that in the next Watch With Kristin Show. I'm also hearing there'll be some new characters next season. They're casting for the season premiere as we speak, and Dan has a summer job working for a Norman Mailer type.

I’m told there has been a little back-and-forth but that so far, M.T. has not been asked back for season two. Michelle herself said: “[Josh Schwartz] has told everyone that everyone is coming back and that it’s going to be like a crazy, wild cast of a million people, so I’d love to, I think it’d be great fun. It’s a character I’ve just thoroughly enjoyed...and pretty sexy.” Schwartz-love, bring her back so I can practice my Tae-Bo kicks at the screen! Wouldn’t be as much fun without someone to boil our blood.

SpoilerTVxoxox Spoilers have emerged from the first Hamptons-based episode of The CW's delicious teen soap "Gossip Girl" which kicks off its sophomore year on September 1. The episode featuring a shirtless shot of Chace Crawford's character Nate in his underwear will be filled with steamy, but secretive summer sex.
Nathaniel Archibald turns into a boy toy as he begins a secret affair with a married older woman named Catherine Mason. But as the couple get together for yet another hot appointment of afternoon sex, Catherine panics at the sound of her huisband's car pulling into driveway.
Meanwhile, Dan (Penn Badgley) gets a little make-out action of his own as he seduces a beautiful girl at the library where he assists Sebastian Harris, a man described by the writers as a "literary lion." But the apprenticeship comes to an abrupt end, when Dan lets Sebastian down.
The season premiere episode will begin shooting in New York later this month.
