Tsuruko stepped out of the house, and was suddenly hit with something. Something he couldn’t see: his age. He felt old and tired.
“Jinn.” He said quietly.
“Hmm?” Jinn replied.
“It is about time for my passing, my old friend.”
Jinn wheeled around, making Tsu jump in surprise. “What do you mean?”
“I mean it’s time for me to die, soon, damnit.” Tsu said wearily. “After all we’ve done, these last thousand years have been most enjoyable, but I cannot stay in this realm anymore.” Tsu replied.
Jinn nearly fell on his knees. “But, you’re a Necromancer, cant you just cheat death again?”
“One can only cheat death for so long, Jinn. I, however, have been very lucky in living even this long, with all of the dangers plus the fact that every second I cheat death over normal human age, I am running from him. And now I have grown weary in my age.”
With this Tsuruko nearly fell onto Jinn, stumbling forward, his face now showing his true age. Jinn stepped back, now staring into the old man’s eyes. “Is there any ways for you to stay?”
“Maybe, but I would require a host body, and it would only last as long as that person lives. It wouldn’t be for very long. But…”
“What? Tell me!”
“I could always aquire a supernatural body, one that would last as long as a Demon, or an Angel even. But states like that require the host to be at Mutual agreement with the other Soul that the body now takes in, the infusion cannot be against their will.” Tsuruko replied.

Kyotoma felt the weakness close in. Someone about to pass. He stepped around the corner along with Yoshio and saw his older brother for the first time in thousands of years. A hatred brewed in him, but he smothered it. Perhaps he will be different, concerning he now has human family, and a very good comrade . Then, he noticed him.

Tsuruko, on his knees, nearly dead. He knew this was a person of vital importance, but he also knew that if he did help him, he would almost never be able to return to his homestead. But then again, why would he? After all, his brothers betrayed him, left him for dead, and his father was no where to be found. That hatred sprouted again in him, but he drew it back once more. He knew it wasn’t going to be long before his window of opportunity would pass, so he rushed over to them.

Jinn felt his brother approach, and he took great caution. He had no idea of what to expect as his youngest brother ran to his side. Well, I can say I’ve never done this before . His brother, now right beside at him looked him in the eyes for a moment. The same cold, green eyes stared right back at him, and they both knew that neither of them were here to tear each other apart. They then both turned to Tsuruko, barely alive in his advancing age. “Kyotoma, brother of mine, I have the greatest of favors to ask of you,” Jinn said hurriedly.
“Well, I feel that I already know what you’re going to ask, but go ahead, just so I know what I’m dealing with for the rest of my life.” Kyotoma replied, letting the sinking feeling set in as he knew thing would be forever different for himself.
“Tsuruko, an old Necromancer and Comrade of the Kajebatsu, is very near death and wishes to stay here. He tells me of a way that he can, but he requires a host, per se.”
“I was afraid you’d say that.” Kyotoma turns to Tsuruko. “Well, even though we haven’t fully met, I’m sure you’re of certain importance. And from this moment, we share bodies, soul-linked, until I die or become unable to proceed for any reason.”
“I….” Tsuruko trailed off, coughing hard for a moment. “I thank you for your kindness.”

“Half-Demon! Brother of Jinn! Step for and receive your prize! Your prize for your eternal kind being!

Sons of the Abyss, I call upon your strength
Hear me in my most desperate hour
As I fall toward your depths
Guide me through this maze
To the one who will save me
From you, the eternal darkness closing in
I give you up to take on a new person
To start over, forever which will be my partner
In the same being!

A shadow encased around them, and then fused. The ground heaved for a moment, and dust flew up into the air from an unknown wind. Jinn and Yoshio stumbled back, coughing for a moment and watched the dust settle.

Kyotoma emerged forth, looking as if nothing happened. “What?” He said, almost jokingly. He then sort of twitched, and his eyes turned from that piercing Green to a soft brown. “It worked, we now share bodies, my good friends, we have done it. Never have I heard of a successful soul link. We have now proven that it can be done.” He said now in a more serious tone. “Then only weird part I’ll see about this is now what looks like talking with myself.” Kyotoma said in his lighter tone again.

Jinn sighed and took a seat on the ground. “At least that’s over.” He said with relief in his voice.
“This is one interesting reunion, don’t you think?” Yoshio replied.
“Well, considering some of our past reunions, this isn’t too bad.”
They both laughed.

From the other room, two loud ear pircing screams could be heard, one that obviously sounded very young, and another that was clearly feminine.

When everyone finally reached the young boy's room, blood was pooled and splattered everywhere, there couldn't have been even one single surface that wasn't completely covered with a thick layer of blood. Though the entire room was completely blood soaked, neither body could be found. There was no trace of any possible escape route or anything remotely trackable. The strangest part of all, was that the entire room, everything in it made everyone's body exteremely uncomfortably tingle with magic, it was so presant, that none of them could stand to remain in the room for more than a few seconds at the very most. The magic was unfamiliar, and seemed not of their world or demension even, nothing that they thought they might have any possible chance of tracing or ever over comming.

(Megumi has now been written out of the story. I made sure to do this myself so that none of you would have to take the burden of having to figure out how to make her follow around or be eliminated. I also tried to make it seem as impossible as possible for any of the characters to be able to find some way to bring her back, or for any potential future reader to wonder why they didn't all try to go after her and Kiyoshi's son.)
