Aragorn VS Legolas

[Legolas]

Legolas flipped to his feet and attacked with his left sword which Aragorn blocked with his own, then he attacked with his right sword and Aragorn leapt out of the way, countering with an overhead downward slash, which Legolas caught in the 'X' shape of his swords, moved in close and unleashed his Elven Combo which succeeded in knocking Aragorn backwards into the ground.

Aragorn got up from the attack and went on the offensive again. He stopped though, and as Legolas decided to go on the offensive, Aragorn decided to unleash his Strider's Bow, and fired 5 arrows in an instant, all in one shot....


OOC: Let you decide where they hit Legolas.

[Legolas]

The arrows hit Legolas mostly in his shoulders and he tried to block them, but succeeded in only stopping 2 of them. Apparently, Aragorn was trying to ruin his ability to fight back.
After he got the arrows free, Legolas started a chain of attacks and the two faced off again, each parrying and attacking. It seemed like a draw for a while but Legolas managed to force Aragorn to protect a spot that he did not actually attack.
Legolas used the open area for a fast and deadly accurate Elven Combo, which sent Aragorn careening into the ground and leaving a trail in the dirt...

[Aragorn]

Aragorn got up, and looked around as the elf was behind him, trying to sneak attack, but Aragorn spun and slammed his sword onto Legolas' two to the ground. Legolas pushed off, and Aragorn stumbled back but dodged Legolas' strike. Aragorn, from the side, headbutted Legolas in the side of his head, followed up with a knee to the gut. As Legolas was hunched over, Aragorn upper cutted him, than leg-sweeped him to the ground, and finally dropping his elbow into Legolas' sternum.

[Legolas]

The attack knocked Legolas onto his back, but he rolled deftly and regained his feet, while unleashing his Rising Revenge attack which sent Aragorn to the ground as well....

[Aragorn]

OOC: 9th post, I believe, for me. 10th for you on your next post.

IC: Aragorn got up, and used his Hilt of Sword technique to knock Legolas around.

OOC: Lame post, I know but I'm not seeing much better from you ^_~

[Legolas]

Ooc: My heart just doesn't feel like this is a good battle... though in reality, a true battle between them would be incredible.... though admittedly, that was the absolute worse battle post I have ever seen... ^_^

Ic:

Legolas flipped to his feet and attacked with his twin blades as Aragorn countered and blocked the two swords.
Legolas tried once more, but this time with only his right arm, which Aragorn easily blocked with Anduril, spinning the wood elf off balance momentarily and attacking in his own right.
Unfortunately, for Aragorn, wood elves aren't easily kept off balance and Legolas countered with a dual diagonal slash attack.
Aragorn, however, leapt out of the way and immediately returned with a downward slash with Anduril, but unluckily Legolas had already leapt out of the way and bolted back in, this time scoring a powerful series of strikes with his Elven Combo.....

Ooc: How is that?

[Aragorn]

OOC: Yes, I agree. Guess we over did the fighting from all those previous battles, hmmm? And, indeed, ncie post.

IC:

Aragorn spun after Legolas' initial attack, and through his sword horizontally at the elf - who easily flipped backwards and landed on the sword, as it got stuck in a tree.

Legolas smiled at the weaponless Aragorn, but Aragorn returned the smile. Aragorn took out a blowhorn, and blew into it.

Soon, Gandalf appeared out of thin air, as he poped in. Legolas, a little stricken with bewilderment at the new arrival was unable to see Gandalf's staff flying towards him. It connected with his head, knocking him back, than Gandalf appeared above Legolas, with his staff, and shot a small magic-wave at Legolas, knocking him into the ground.

Gandalf than dissapeared, as Aragorn retrieved his sword....

"Horn of Gondor"

Ooc: LOL, that was better. ^_^

Ic:

The attack dazed Legolas and knocked him off of Anduril.
Legolas shook his head clear and stood upright.
Without hesitating, Legolas leapt to his feet and engaged Aragorn again.
Legolas drew his bow and fired several arrows at Aragorn, who used his sword to stop the arrows from reaching him.
Legolas unleashed a tirade of arrows at Aragorn and managed to force him into the trunk of a tree, Legolas then put away his bow and drew his swords again. He swung them downward to cut Aragorn's chest, but the warrior countered with his sword and knocked the elf backwards a good distance.
Legolas flipped to his feet, leapt back and drew his bow again as he swiftly vanished into a tree.
Legolas took careful aim as Aragorn searched for him without any luck.
Legolas launched a blue arrow that shone brightly and it arced in a flash of blue light into Aragorn's shoulder, as it buried itself in the Gondorian's shoulder, a burst of blue light blasted Aragorn into a tree.
Legolas leapt down from the tree with his swords drawn again.

OOC: Very nice.


IC:

"Impressive attack." Aragorn commented. "Must learn how you learned and did that someday, but for now, we have to continue our battle!" Aragorn said, as quickly ran at the elf. The two engaged with swords ablaing, but every attempt to strike was countered, so the two would throw in an occassional kick or punch, or even a knee or a headbutt.

But, neither woudl falter far enough for the other to make an advance, or a critical strike. Aragorn slash upwards, and his sword was knocked into the air, as Legolas did the same motion. Aragorn dodged to the side, slightly, as Legolas plunged his sword at Aragorn, in teh midsection.

Aragorn's sword fell lightly into his grasp, as Legolas was still going in momentum as Aragorn dodged. Aragorn used The Hilt of a Sword technique again, as he crushed the hilt between the shoulder blades of Legolas; knocking him to the ground, and some feet away.

Aragorn returned his stance, facing the fallen Legolas, for the next attacks, or counters....

Legolas fell forward and flipped to his feet, unleashing his Rising Revenge attack, but Aragorn leapt out of the way and countered with a powerful downward slash attack, which he countered with an upward slash, knocking Aragorn backwards.
The elf leapt forward, but Aragorn still managed to counter his rushing attack and knocked him back with a horizontal break attack, sending Legolas to his back once more....
Aragorn rushed and Legolas rolled to the side and got back to his feet with another Rising Revenge attack, which struck the off guard Gondorian a brutal blow to his sides, sending him crashing to the ground....

[Aragorn]

Aragorn lay there for a moment, thinking of his beloved Arwen. Soon he felt himself almost grow in power, as he stood up quickly, and faced Legolas.

He moved at quick speeds, and kicked the elf from behind. Than, as the elf fell, he swung and slammed his sword into the back of Legolas, sending him crashing to the ground....

OOC: Last post for you, next, I do believe. Than, mine will happen after; than a coin toss. Been so long since one of those has happened?

[Legolas]

Aragorn had not failed to hurt Legolas badly, but the hardy elf stood back up and engaged Aragorn in a fierce fencing duel.
The two battled back and forth, with neither gaining the upper hand until Aragorn somehow managed to break off Legolas' attacks and smashed him back into a large sycamore, painfully.
Legolas slid down the tree and remained still for a moment.
Aragorn took the opportunity to attack again, but Legolas rolled through Aragorn's legs and rose behind him, striking a fierce blow, which stunned Aragorn on the tree.
Legolas leapt back and withdrew a vial from inside his tunic.
It shone brightly as he held it out and even more so when he held it into the sky.
A soothing light shrouded Legolas and healed his injuries slightly while an unbelievably powerful burst of star plasma shot out and hit Aragorn square in the chest.
The light pierced into Aragorn's soul, inflicting serious pain and he fell to his knees as the light faded.....

OOC: K, last post for me and than I'll flip a coin to see who wins. You choose Tails than, eh? Well, look for the next OOC at the bottom for the answer! ^_~



IC:

Aragorn breathed heavily, and saw Legolas was also slightly doing the same. Aragorn knew he lost, but knew he would get at least one more hit in.

He looked up, and smiled. "Been a good match, Legolas. We have both be warned out, greatly but I will get at least one more...." Aragorn trailed off as he stood up, and than rushed with surprising speed at Legolas, screaming. "ONE MORE ATTACK! STRIDER'S FIRE!"

He began to combo with his sword, as he closed in with Legolas. Legolas blocked the first two flurry atatcks, but than a fist met with his head, and it knocked him off balance, as Aragorn began to knock Legolas aroudn with his sword, with multiple combos, which left Legolas in tattered clothes, and some gashes, and bruises....





OOC: And..............You won. Damn. Ah well, got my last post in the fight anf you get the closing post to end and win the match. Good fight, though. Been a while and all. lol

Ooc: Sorry for taking so long.... Darn Dad has blocked me at every turn to get on...

Ic:

Legolas managed to recover to respectable degree and drew power from nature as he recovered.
"You are right Aragorn son of Arathorn. I have enjoyed this fight." He said as he charged at incredible speed and unleashed a powerful combination of sword attacks with his brightly glowing swords and sent Aragorn crashing down, where he didn't move. Unconsciouss for the time being....
