Student Creation
Students, your journey at Apophis Academy begins here. To make certain that you’ve read the rules, you will need to know the password in order to enter this thread (which can be found in The Rules). Jobs and Internships

Qetish Foyer
Enclosed by large burl wood doors, fires burn brightly within the darkness of the entrance hall of the castle. It is brightly lit cavernous room; often the meeting place for students. The Foyer has enormous black-leather couches and armchairs whose comfort cannot be matched. One of the largest stone fireplaces in all the country is located here also, which gives off a comforting warmth to the open space.

Banquet Hall
The Banquet Hall is the place where students eat. There are three different times that are scheduled to eat: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, snacks can often be found in the Kitchens between meals.

Apophis Ballroom
This expansive room is where all balls, dances, parties, and festivities will take place. Its appearance and decorations are constantly changed to fit the theme of the occasion. Its towering ceiling draws chandeliers of crystal that illuminate in darkness.

Shifting Passage
A large passageway exists in the northern wing. The unnatural aspect of this passageway rests in that it has a rather fond liking of change. This passage is in a new spot every day. It is always in the north wing…but exactly where, is rather spontaneous. Watch your step or might find yourself lost in the cracks of its ever changing mystery.

Room of Rain
When you step inside you are greeted with the fresh scent of pure water. The ceiling is endlessly bewitched to resemble a rainy-night's sky. What is odd is that, from the outside, it appears of modest size, however upon entrance you discover that it is in fact the size of a football field. Maybe only a mist, perhaps a downpour; regardless: in this room...it always rains.

The Library
High towering shelves full of millions of books travel high to the ceiling of the room. Tall ladders extending to the top shelves are used for reaching books at great height. Come here to find the book you desire or to find silence amongst the busy hallways.

Watch House
Ascend a narrow and steep staircase located behind a small wooden door in the east wing to locate the Watch House. Guarded by two gargoyles, they oversee from the high elevation the goings ons of activities in their sights.

Infirmary Chamber
The infirmary chamber is lit dimly and gives off a strong odor of herbs. An assortment of odd fungi and vials of potion line the walls. Beds with darkred, satin, sheets are neatly made at one end. Not many people like to spend much time in this depressing antichamber.

Chamber of Water & Flame
Enter the room of Water & Flame. This room is occupied with beautifully lit candles that constantly alter colors. The room is also populated by large bubbles that never burst. The flame of the candles reflect deep within the infinite bubbles, illuminating their shape and creating a room of complete tranquility. Lose yourself in the magic of this room.

Undefined Room
Branching off from a rather bare corridor, a room unlike the rest awaits a wandering spirit. This room has no name, its purpose is unknown, and its creation to all degrees is sincerely mysterious. In order to enter this room, a password is required. Uncover the password and allow yourself to be engulfed by its undefined inexplicitness. -Password Hint: its existence travels faster than all known others. Its life is easily faded to darkness. It must depend upon those around it in order to maintain survival.

Musical Sanctuary
In one of the high towers in the northern section of the castle is a room where music is the passionate flow – like air – it’s breathed. Music turns the dark to light. It gives us hope, when all other hope as we’ve come to know seems lost. Let the music captivate you in this sanctuary of refuge.

The Lavish lounges
A small maze of rooms created as lounges where students may come to find that quiet place to read or study. Levitated couches and other such furniture openly welcomes all. Come here to get away from the business of the school. Make friends, or enjoy the friends you have. Hall of Down-Side Up
What goes up must come down, what goes around will come around, what falls with clatter returns a sound, and in the end we all are bound. -A chamber where things are not always what they appear. This room was placed under a permanent reversal incantation. The spells effect caused everything within the room, to appear upside down. Intrigued? Enter to find the floor not at your feet, but rather your head - the ceiling below and down-side up…and just when you think you’ve lost your mind, remember that at Apophis, magic is an attainable find.

The Botany Dome

Apophis Delivery Hovel
A large shed near the edge of the woods holds creatures used for delivering school letters. If you wish to use one of the creatures for sending letters, you are welcome to do so. Owls, ravens, hawks, and eagles are all available for those who need to use them. Use the eagle’s only in emergency situations when haste is desired above all else.

A deep and narrow, yet navigable fjord through which the Nephthys River flows into the Lake. On either side are extremely steep cliffs, but it is only one of two ways to get to the areas to the east of the Tefnut Mountains.

The Moorland Prairie
An area to the west of Apophis Academy.... It is beyond anything else, but very easy to get to taken by boat downriver. It is a lush, yet barren place of wild grassland and a few small sections of forest. The Moorland Prairie has rolling hills and plains, crystal-clear nights, and is a perfect place to get away from the worries of modern life. Regardless of it's ideal location, this place is seldom visited by beasts.
