The Studios While most of the expansive, light-flooded rooms in the higher levels of this building are for fine artists and dancers, there is also a place for the Ardnieu Wireless Network studio, as well as the literature classrooms, on the lower levels.

The Academy Officially, this building is named the Jeremiah P. Crass School of Defensive and Offensive Studies for Future Aurors, which is carved into the pediment above the imposing columns that line the front entrance. Naturally, this is where all wand-oriented studies majors take their higher-level classes. Lower-level classes are, of course, taken in the main castle during Freshman year.

The Pit This low-laying training field is where DADA majors (future Aurors or not) are put through a virtual gauntlet. Mazes, obstacle courses, spell-casting ranges, and basic training areas - all encircled by the extensive running track that almost every DADA major learns to loathe.
