As Ardnieu University grows and improves as a forum and functional role-playing site, there are certain maintenance- and friendliness-related issues that must be attended to in order to make AU run as smoothly as possible. Unfortunately, and even though the admin are loathe to admit it, some of these issues slip through our fingers.

Therefore, in order for Ardnieu University to better serve its members, we're creating this technical support log to document each issue and to correct each issue as soon as possible.

If you notice a list that hasn't been updated in a while, or if the skin's a little out of whack, or if you have an issue that relates to the technical cohesiveness of this board, please use the following form to post your concern in this thread:

When the administration has fixed the issue in question, or has explained the purpose behind a change, we will edit your post with addendums in red to let you know that we've got you covered.

And, as usual, please read the posts above yours. Someone may have already posted the same issue. If you are posting a duplicate issue, your post will be deleted.

Issue: When one goes to view a profile, the tables for the profile screen aren't even on the right hand side, and if the signature is at 500x200, it falls over the edge of the profile box.

I don't know if that can be fixed, but I thought it was worth reporting to you all.

Could you take a screen shot for me, please?

My trouble with the 500x200 has already been fixed, so please ignore that, and I blacked out information that I thought might be bad if some random person found it on the internet, but all the pertinent info is in blue.

That's because there's an extra border in the rows above it - the ones that have the texture. If I added a border to the part without the extra (and I'm not entirely sure which part of the CSS that is), it'd probably cause something else - potentially something far more noticeable - to look even more odd.

Well, I guess the problem is resolved for now.

I, Lown, on stardate June 18, 2008 have an issue concerning Eva and Seren LaFeys' profiles not being in the correct forums. Thank you.

A few of our affiliate sites seem to be highly inactive or completely off line. Perhaps there could be a monthly date when affiliates and/or pluggers could be checked and if they are closed, they could be removed or something?

Since there are two posts, I'm just going to skip the edit feature and reply here:

Lown: The profiles have been moved.
KJ: A process to do exactly that will be implemented shortly after the summer clean-ups. It's on our agenda, so you shouldn't have to wait long before it's put into effect.

Lown on 26 June 2008 would like to point someone in the direction of the Faculty Profiles to request the move of Ivy Lockhart's profile to either Witches and Wizards or to the location of Inactive profiles.

Just a thought: A lot of the admin pay from the gold rush went into a separate post. I think it would look more organized if the gold rush posts were merged with the threads of the owner.
