Got a question about AU, the boards, or anything else that's site-related? If so, then you may ask here.

If you're not comfortable posting your inquiry to this thread, then by all means, direct it to one of our Moderator's via PM. smile.gif Otherwise, by posting it here, you could be helping others who may have the same questions in mind. wink3.gif

Did the sig limitations recently change from the 150x450 pixels limit?

You cannot have an image exceeding 450x100 (width and height respectively). We actually allow up to 150 pixels in height (absolute), but the width is non-negotiable. If you have an image larger than this, the AU Admin will remove it. You have a character limit of 750 for your signatures. Please do not use any swear words in your signatures. If you are found to have something inappropriate in your signature, it will be removed and a warning will be issued.

From the rules. I think that should answer it.

When in doubt, always read the rules!

I had read them, but I knew that some changes were taking place and thought that perhaps that was a change that had been talked about but not changed within the online rules.

Thank you both for answering.

Will we ever be allowed to post appropriate images, not just links, in the journals? angel_not.gif

heehee

I mean like scrap book pages, as long as they don't stretch the bored.

Alright. I turned on the [doHTML] tag for the Character Chronicles.

As always, if anyone abuses this, I will turn it off again. So, enjoy it, but keep it in moderation. tongue.gif

Please and thank you.

Regarding Majors...

When I sent my admissions applications to Professor Rastal, I said that I wanted to major in Healing and minor in Magical Languages. When I sign up for classes and it asks for my major, do I add Magical languages as well, or do I replace "major" with "minor?"

Also, it is required I take charms for Healing, and recommended for Magical Languages. So in the charms registration thread, when it asks for my major, do I add Magical languages?

Your major on each of the class sign-ups would be Healing, since a minor isn't the primary focus of one's studies. smile.gif Students may take courses that are wholly unrelated to their major (or minor, for that matter), so it's really just a formality that lets profs know how many are in a given class for their major, as opposed to mere personal interest in the subject.

If you like, where it asks if it's required for your major, you could put "No, but it's required for my minor." But even there, it's still just a formality. smile.gif

*raises hand* I has a question

I think Orientation thread goes into Adminy Archives (I didn't find it in Multipurpose Wing). Is it possible to get hands on an orientation post? Specifically, Dwayne's orientation post? smile.gif maybe via PM? smile.gif pretty please?

thankies

I was only going to edit, but I realised other people may be wondering the same thing.

Yup, when we start a new Orientation thread, the old one gets moved over to the Admin Archives (funnily enough, only visible to the Admin! tongue.gif) for our own reference or something, lol!

Also, I have PMed Dwayne's post. wink3.gif

I am pretty sure the answer to this was posted somewhere previously, but for the life of me I can't find it, so, my apologies if this is a silly question. smile.gif Anyway - I'm thinking about registering a new PDU charrie. Unless I am not looking in the right place, it looks like there's only the one Orientation thread for AU right now. Do I just post in that thread as though they're going to PDU? Or are no new PDU charries being accepted at the moment?

Thanks! smile.gif
