1) There is no word filter in use, but that does not mean you have to fill every post with pointless profanity. It is useful at times when trying to get a point across, though. Use your best judgment.

2) Spam sucks, so don't do it. No advertisements will be tolerated outside of the Internet Dumping Grounds. All unwanted ads will be either moved or deleted at our discretion. If you are looking to trade links between boards, e-mail either Alpha Lemur or The Gert One and we will check out your board and get back to you. We always answer our mail. Links in signatures are fine as long as there is a point to the post.

3) a) Topic assassinations will not be tolerated on the board. This goes double for those who are supposed to be in charge. If you feel the almost uncontrollable urge to deviate from the current course of conversation, stop yourself, leave the topic and begin a new one.

b) Do not change the title of a topic to suit your post. It only confuses the topic, especially once it goes to a new page.

4) Do your best to keep any graphics in signatures to a manageable size. We do not want to see the page being stretched out for some image that nobody wanted to see. If you have a large image in your signature please, disable it before posting or we will edit it out for you. Images can be up to 300(width) x 50(height).

5) There are to be no pictures inside of posts since this is a message board and most people come to read what is posted and not look at pretty pictures. Links to pictures are very much encouraged. This is especially so in the Artistic Inclinations forum.

6) There are to be no attacks or flames directed at other members of the board. The only exception is anything started by an administrator since we become bored on occassion and need to vent. All fictional fights are to be restricted to the Let The Bodies Hit The Floor forum.

1) You must come to the board on a regular basis (several times a week). If you are not around I will feel the need to do your job for you and you will become obsolete rather quickly.

2) Your main job is keep things in your area interesting so that people will want to post there. That means starting new topics when things get slow. There are plenty of people that do not like to start posts, but only respond to existing ones. The idea is to give them something to respond to.

3) Remember, that you are also there to keep the peace. This means that before editing somebody's post and possibly alienating them you should contact either myself or The Gert One on questionable changes you want to make. The easiest thing to do with questionable posts is to move them to Spam, Spam & Eggs where they will be out of the way.

4) Being a moderator is a privilege and not a right so take care of your forum and treat the members the way that you want to be treated or you will be replaced.

5) Try not to forget to post outside of your own forum. This is not really a rule, but it was a problem on our other board.
