Old Posts North Region
East: Noctus Cave System
Status:
OPEN
Cut deep into the rolling hillsides, the Noctus Cave System is a labrynth of tunnels and chambers. Periodically sinkholes open to the air above, letting natural sunlight into the caves near the main entances. As the caves move farther into the moutains, openings are more rare and strange blue-flourescent crystals line the walls and ceiling to light the paths.

West: Starke Mountain
Status:
OPEN
The Noctus Cave System is lost deep within this towering green mountain. It's rugged hills are lined with beautiful, thick pine forests. The lower mountain is an excellent place for denning. Burrows can be hid amongst the fallen trees and boulders of the mountain. Farther north, the mountain becomes a more trecherous maze of loose rocks and cliffs that can trigger rockslides at any moment.

Old Posts West Region
North: Aryhu Desert
Status:
OPEN
The western region and Aryhu Desert border on the Unknown (the unexplored areas to the west). This is a forboding place and can prove too harsh for even the most fit of wolves. The land is dry and flat in most areas, though strange rock caves have been cut by wind and weather to form some variation to the land. Little prey or water can be found here and most wolves do not make this their permanent home.

South: Blackwater Rivine
Status:
Ecliptic Sunrise
Once a turbulent river, the desert has slowly drained this mighty river of its former glory. This area is the most fertile area in this region. The river itself has slowed to a small stream and in some areas it is little more than a patch of mud. The rivine is approximately one hundred feet wide and is a sunken hollow into the earth. Dense trees surround the sources of water, providing excellent shade and shelter - though the surrounding lands have little to offer.

Old Posts East Region
North: Coastal Plains
Status:
OPEN
These gentle rolling plains are cut by stair-step waterfalls and brooks making their way to the sea. Just south of the Starke Mountain, the coastal plains are prone to flooding in the early summer when glacial ice melts from the mountain top. The area here is lightly wooded and the soil is extremely soft with silt, an excellent place for denning.

South: Nightsglade Swamp
Status:
OPEN
A wild jungle of towering trees, vines, and swamp water. The swamp itself is made up of many small island-like landmasses spread throughout a dense forest of trees which have rooted themselves in the murky water. The water - though clouded - is an aquired taste enjoyed by those who visit here. Though travellers may swim the shallow waters, many prefer to travers the dense, entertwined branches and root systems of the trees.

Old Posts South Region
East: Blackfoot Hills
Status:
OPEN
Just south of the swamps is the Blackfoot Hills territory. Years ago, this area was a mighty volcano. Now it has receded into an area of rolling black hills. Most of the earth here is still covered in ash, though some areas do support limited vegetation. Prey animals rarely venture here, making it a harsh environment. Steam vents rise from large cracks in the ground and release hot gas into the air.

West: Southerland River Basin
Status:
OPEN
A densely forested region west of the Blackfoot Hills, this area marks where the volcano's destruction stopped. Through the center of the territory, the Southerland River flows from north to south, originating at the Starke Mountain glaciers. Though it is unnoticable at ground level, the entire area is a sunken valley basin. This area is thick with pine and oak trees, and the rugged terrain is an interesting environment to make dens and catch prey in.
