Hey guys,

I'm organising the AVEN EuroMeet in Paris. It's going to take place the weekend of 26th-28th February 2010.

So far up to 40 people look likely to attend. About half are from France (some speak English), and the rest are from the UK, Finland, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Poland and possibly the US and more. I had no idea there would be so much interest (i'm daunted but excited).

Over the weekend (mainly on the Saturday and Sunday) there will be different activities going on - a mixture of sight-seeing and other fun stuff. There will most likely be 2 choices to choose from in the morning and 2 to choose from in the afternoon - and you can come along to as many/as few as you fancy. The fact that there will be choices will also hopefully mean that the groups won't be too big.

Ideas for the weekend currently include things such as:

Montmartre
Eiffel Tower
Boat trip on the River Seine
Ice Skating
Wine tasting
Notre Dame
Visit to the catacombes (undergroud remains of Parisian bones from the past! creepy..)
Museums such as the Musée D'Orsay and the Pompidou Centre (modern art)

Soon people will be voting from the long list HERE and a proper itinerary will be made.

There will also be an AVEN party/gathering with CAKE (of course) late Saturday afternoon/Saturday evening.

It would be so good to some of you there. It's going to be a great opportunity to really get to know some other asexies (from all over, too! it's going to have quite an international flavour).
