Happy St. Patrick's day! Anyone celebrating the day? I'm afraid I am not wearing green so feel free to pinch me today :lol:

Instead I'm in my Purdue University sweatshirt and blue jeans watching the women's NCAA basketball tournament first round games. Purdue plays soon although I don't know if it will be on ESPN2 which is the channel I'm watching. I graduated from Purdue in 1984.

Stanford also plays next. I am a Stanford fan since they are just down the road from where I live and I have season tickets to their games.

Alas ... Neither game is on ESPN2. Perhaps I'll check on ESPN3.

I'm also celebrating the 25th anniversary of defending my master's thesis. on March 17, 1987 I successfully defending my masters at Cornell and then went out and drank green beer to celebrate!

I'm a day late on this one! I helped my very Irish ex move out of my house and into her new place.

My true St. Patty's activity however was to eat brisket and eggs for breakfast :).

What is your master's degree in? (if not being too nosey)

My masters is in Mechanical engineering (biomechanics).
