I'm Marie, from France. I am 23 years old and I think I'm an asexual lesbian. I'm not sure because I'm never sure of anything but for 4 years I've been thinking about it and that's the result of all my reflections! But I think it's a question huge and very complicated. Welcome! I'm relatively new too. I live in California USA. I wish there was a "test" that a person can take to confirm whether she is an asexual lesbian or not, but there is none, so it's just a self-discovery process. As long as the description of the "asexual lesbian" identity works and feels right for you, that's what's important in the discovery process.

Nice to see a French girl here! I recently spent a couple of years in France.. Where abouts are you? As CoralSea said, it's all about self-discovery... a journey. If the 'asexual lesbian' identity works for you then great, but what's important is that you just stay true to yourself and take all the time in the world. You may not ever want to use the term to describe yourself, but I know that personally, just knowing that there are others who are having similar journeys helps :) See you around the forum. I'm sorry I answer late! Right now I live in western France, in the region called Poitou-Charentes. But I'm moving to Poland in August for 9 months to volunteer in an organization about women's issues. I read some topics on the website AVEN France a long time ago. I'm not really good at following blogs, websites, etc. But I feel good at knowing there are people like me who think about sexual or rather Asexual identities. Anyway, thank you for welcoming me and sorry for my English, I'm trying to improve it! See you around, ladies! |
