About the spam...

Hello everybody. ^^ Some of you may remember me, others I probably haven't met yet, but I'm here to say a couple of things.

First:

I made it a little harder for people to join - I'm the one who has to validate e-mail addresses now - and that will hopefully block spam bots from being able to join. But if some spam bots do pass through - which will be hard, since I have a spam bot checker - please continue to use the 'report to moderator' button. ^^

Second:

I'm going to be playing around with the banner and buttons and such, so I was wondering if anyone would like the board to be a different color or if the current shade of blue that it is right now is good. I might also be playing around with the smilies, so there may be some that you haven't seen before joining the ranks. ^^

I know I haven't been here very often, but I do make sure that everything's all well for those of you who are here every day, or as often as possible. If there's anything anybody is concerned about, please don't hesitate to tell me.

Thanks for all your hard work!
I have been deleting single spam threads when I see them, but your spambot filter is obviously much more efficient.
If you're going to be playing around with colors, it would nice to have a blue that is more blue (less teal/green) or a lavender-ish purple. Just my 2 cents.

DON'T change the board colours! It's soothing and reminds me of a tropical holiday!

Thanks for taking care of the spam...it was wierd because I couldn't find the 'report' button. It was like they found a way to remove it.
