Dusk is a curious creature, always asking questions of Duna, and generally sticking its nose into any kind of business it can find. Dusk enjoys learning things, even if it can’t always remember what it just learned. Dusk is a simple creature, ruled by instinct and emotion. Dusk’s speech is primitive, It has a limited vocabulary that it uses, though Dusk understands most of the things said to it. Very much the gentle giant, Dusk is a kindly creature, Always happy to help, and eager to please. Dusk is a little overprotective when it comes to his Handler, Duna. Rarely, if ever is Dusk seen far from her side. The wher does its very best to keep her out of the often dangerous situations she gets herself into.

Appearance: (Base Hide: 322975) Dusk's size is one the first things people note when they see this Wher. Standing at 6 feet tall at the shoulder, and a full 16 feet in length, Dusk is the same size as Large brown or small Bronze wher. In darkness Dusk's hide appears to be a normal shade of blue. However the application of even the smallest amount of light proves this to be an incorrect assumption. Shades of reds, greens and yellows dance across the surface of Dusk's hide in a rainbow of shades that has been likened to colours of twilight, or Oil on water. Dusk’s form is a little different to other whers. While many whers are squat lumpy things, all bulging muscle and ill-fitting skin, Dusk is a sleek and graceful creature, Hide stretched neatly over strong but slender muscles, with a body that flows neatly from one part to the next.

History: Not much is known of Dusk’s history. What is known is that Dusk has most likely been wild since birth, and Dusk has likely been wandering the Tunnels near Atricis for most of its life.

The creature ran into someone else again, hitting the person hard but stopping instead of trampling them like it had done to Freyjanna. It continued to whine in fear as the two whers ran close. To the creature’s surprise though, it had felt something. This two-leg thing! It could keep it safe from the threatening things. It thought, scrambling to curl around the person.

Scared! Scared! Need Safe! Keep Safe! Scared!

The words were primitive and unpracticed, even compared to a wher’s mental speak. However, any wherhandler would have been able to recognize the creature the mental speech had come from. It wasn’t a wherhandler who heard the thoughts though.

Pax was the first of the two wherhandlers present to arrive where the unknown creature had run. Krizia was still getting up off the ground and Krizisk had turned back to help her handler up. Pax carefully held a glow basket towards the unknown creature, his wher on guard despite the creature had not harmed Duna yet.

In the light it was revealed to be a wher! All this time a wild wher had been living in the tunnels. At first his hide looked blue, but he seemed too large to be a blue wher. Pax was confused as he looked at the creature until he saw the light shine gently on the wher's hide. Different colors of red, green and yellow gently danced across the surface of the blue hide. What was this strange wher supposed to be?
