-This is a literate, intermediate to advanced roleplay, which means decent
posts are required. Proper grammar is a must. Chat speak, outside of e-mail's
and i.m., is not allowed. All entries, except the aforementioned, must be in
third person. It's cleaner writing and much easier to read and understand.

-One liners are not acceptable, and a paragraph is not three
sentences. Each paragraph should have at least five to six sentences. This
really shouldn't be a problem for our intermediate roleplayers; just think
about the five basic senses. At least two paragraphs please.

-One character per account. Not only does it get annoying, but graphics
become a hassle. You may create as many accounts as you like, but make
sure to keep them all active. After one month of inactivity without notice,
you're character(s) will be marked as INACTIVE. After three months, you
will lose face claim rights. Six months, you will be deleted.

-As much as we hate to do this, we are making a character restriction. For
every two girl characters you have, one must be a male. This is to
keep genders even.

-When creating an account, register with your character's FULL name in all
lowercase. ex. harry james potter. Accounts registered with babycakes38,
gamer93, ponyluvr, call_me_daddy, etc. will be deleted immediately.

-You have two weeks to fill out an application after joining. Otherwise, your
account will be deleted. There are also notes in the application; they're there
to help you. Read them. And the minimums are not suggestions, they are
serious. We count. Everytime.

-There is a canon list. Reservations are good for five days, after that the
canon is back on the market, so to speak. Check out the list so you don’t
choose a taken PB. If you sign up with an already claimed play by, you
application will be sent straight to Denied. It’s your responsibility to do what
you need to do before applying.

-After you've been accepted, you may claim your face. Not before. However,
you can reserve a character for up to one week while your application is in the
works. If it is not finished by the end of the week, you lose your reservation.

-You must have an avatar and signature. The signature doesn't have to be a
work of art, it can simply be two or three icons merged together. Also, no
stretching the page please - signatures will have a maximum of 480w x 375h.
And avatars will be 100x100. If not possible, ask someone in the graphics
forum. We’d be happy to help.

-No profane pictures on graphics. Anyone to disregard will have it deleted
and be warned with a week's suspension.

-Once again, this is a literate, intermediate to advanced roleplay, which means
at least two full paragraphs are required. Proper grammar and posts must be
in third person. Again, just think about the five senses.

-We respectfully request that in roleplaying threads you do not enter in the
middle of a word. We understand that it is a format-appearance thing, but it
is very hard to read and follow.

-You may use avatars and pictures in your posts. But if you are going to take
a picture for it, please do not make it so big that it stretches the forum. If for
any reason you cannot resize the pic, ask someone to help you. Max width is 480.

-No godmodding or powerplaying. Unless consent from the other player is
received, do not play for them at all.

-You may post in as many threads as you like, but try to limit yourself to where
you feel comfortable and keep them all active. People won't want to post if
you don't stay active.

-Use the spell check. As much as everyone makes mistakes, it is
irritating to read a post with spelling errors all over the place.

-Scrapbook threads are an obligation, not an option - you have to
make them. They don't have to be fancy or anything, but it makes
it easier for everybody to know whether they're wasting their time
trying to hook up with someone that's already promised to someone
else, etc. If you are not sure of how to make your plotting thread,
don't be afraid to ask for help. Nobody bites.

-Respect one another! We cannot stress this enough. We all have to remember
that there is an actual person on the other side of the computer screen.

-In the OOC boards and in the C-Box, We do not want to see any bad mouthing
or excessive cussing to one another. No one wants to watch people argue.
If there is a dispute you have to settle, take it somewhere else like PMs or
I.M., or bring it up with me.

-Since this is an advanced forum, we will not limit you on what you can or
can't roleplay. If this is offensive to you, you probably don't want to join,
or you can talk to an admin about it.

-If your posts go to a graphic rating, mark it with accordingly. (i.e. "R", "M",
"Mature", etc.). We don't want our younger players accidentally stumbling into
something inappropriate. If need be, we may password protect mature threads,
and give out the password when asked.

-If you plan on going into a topic that already has a couple of people in it,
send a PM to the person who started the topic asking if you can join. Not
everyone likes having multiple people in one post. Also, when you do have a
thread going on with several people in it, wait for everybody to post before
you post again.

-Activity checks may be a regular part of this site. We spent a lot of time on
this board, and don't want to see it die. If you are a member and plan on
staying, you must reply or your will be deleted. This goes for new members as
well! If you see an activity check in progress when you join, you HAVE to
respond to it.

-Your admins are your friends. We aren't here to make fun of you or
yell at you. We created this site because we want people to have fun.
Please don't be afraid to talk to us about anything! We won't bite. (:

Note: We reserve ourselves the right to add new rules at any given
moment. Sometimes we forget about something and we are only
reminded of it when it happens. It is your responsibility to check
and see if we have updated the rules.
