Would you consider any of the songs on Which Star as World Music?

hmmm...not particularly. I'd be more inclined to list it under new age, or avant garde...maybe even classical or simply pop. Your music shares many ground with some new age artists I have heard of...for example Medwyn Goodall, David Arkenstone and others. And ofcourse Enya biggrin.gif

But then I classify world music as being music from other countries/regions around the world, or music influenced by the music of those regions, or inspired by it.

Phantas

Thanks for your feedback Phantas...I do recieve requests to have the songs from Which Star played on radio stations and just recieved a request for songs that would be used to feature food and beverages for the redio...I don't think I have any, but maybe they can use a song in the back ground...

That's pretty cool, though, to be getting such requests! You'll have to let us know if you agree to any such usage of the music. Think how cool it would be to hear it in the background and recognize the song!

Hmm, not World Music. Easy Listening, maybe?

I agree Phantas, I wouldn't describe it as world music either, but it is a type you could maybe find there. I've found Enya in just about everyplace, except country and rap.

cool.gif That's great Becket! I think they'd sound great for background music. If you release any music to mass media like TV commercials, will you need to get a lawyer or agent?

Thank you Ahrod...I have been working on new songs lately, I just need to settle in and finish recording them...Life has been busy lately and I hope there are some positive events that seem to be making the world a little bit brighter lately...
