Visitors can attend concerts under the stars at the magnificent Greek Theatre, study the stars (or the Hollywood sign) at the Griffith Observatory and planetarium or visit the Los Angeles Zoo, the Museum of the American West and a merry-go-round. The Night Owl/The Caern of the Bellows
The Night Owl is a former comedy club converted into a warehouse/workspace for a production crew. High fences, tall bushes and rumors of nasty guard dogs and strongarmed prosecutions of trespassers keep over-interested parties away.

Among the Garou, The Night Owl is known as the Caern of the Bellows, a Humor caern dedicated to Coyote and guarded by the High Ears Sept.

Though it might not be in the nicest area, the Banks Indoor Firing Range and Self Defense Institute is well regarded by shooting enthusiasts around Los Angeles. Stewart Banks, the owner and proprietor, is ex-military, and leads two of the self defense classes himself. Five gun clubs meet here on a regular basis. It boasts two underground firing lanes, a gun safe, three upstairs training rooms and a modest canteen.
