The Character
Name: Mickey Lang
Nicknames/Alias: "Mick", "Mickey Mouse" or just "Mouse"
Age: 9 years
Aesthetic Age: Appears to be in his mid teens
Sexual Preference: Straight, though seems to have an unusually low interest
Species: Garou
Tribe: Glass Walkers
Auspice: Galliard
Breed: Metis
Rank: Cub
Power: Nothing yet
Deformities:
Mute- Mickey is incapable of speech. His vocal cords don't work properly, and he can't make any sound requiring a voice. He can snuffle, snort, click his tongue, cough, whistle, and use any other sounds he can make with just his mouth, nose, throat, and breath. He just can't manage anything quite like a hum, a snarl, a howl, or words. He can sort of gurgle or squeal if he really tries, but that's about it.
Misc:
Mickey can make ready use of American Sign Language and has a talent for getting his point across without speech.
He's a solid writer, and shows some talent with hand drums. He's also learning the piano now that he can be trusted not to break one with Homid form.
Appearance: (What does your character look like? Hairstyle, hair color, eye color, height, weight, complexion, etc. Be sure to include any alternative forms if your character has the ability to change forms. Two paragraph—eight lines or better—minimum.)
Fashion Sense/style: (What a person wears says a lot about them… what’s your character’s wardrobe like? What’s their idea of casual or fancy? Do they like to accessorize or go bare? It’s all about the detail. One paragraph—four to five lines—minimum.)
Personality:
Mickey is forever frustrated by his inability to talk. He's gotten by without it all his life, but he still wishes it were as easy for him as it is for everybody else. He's quick witted, chatty, and a joker by nature but it's all trapped in his inability to voice his thoughts. Mickey's used to being overlooked or regarded as "slow" or dim because he can't talk, and it drives him crazy that he can't get this blistering series of words across to people as effectively as he wants to. He writes a lot. Poetry, prose, whatever, because on paper he has words and can use all the subtle nuances that vocal and physical communication deny him.
Mickey's frustration aside, he's a reasonably sunny cub. He's learned a great deal of patience, especially in getting people to understand him. He gets jokes quickly, finds humor in many things, and loves to learn. Mickey's an avid reader and he will read literally anything if it sits still long enough. He's good at staving off boredom, a vital skill when you're forced to spend most of your young life locked up in hidden rooms. As a result, Mick is a fountain of trivia, useless information, and TV-conveyed pop culture. (Or perhaps an untapped wellspring, with the muteness.)
He likes to carry a notebook to jot down his thoughts in to work on later, as he can't just share his observations out loud with anyone around. His handwriting is absolutely abysmal as of yet because he only recently got the chance to have hands small enough to hold a pen.
History: (This is without a doubt the most important and largest part of your profile. Where was your character born? Who are their parents? Siblings? What was their childhood like? List any important events from their birth until now that will effectively explain their history. Be as descriptive as possible and don't hold back. EVERY PROFILE SHOULD BE AT LEAST THREE LARGE PARAGRAPHS, REGARDLESS OF SPECIES OR AGE.
That being said, for Immortal and high-ranked Garou/Fera/Mages… it goes without saying that the older your character is, the longer your History must be. The more fame/renown your character supposedly has, the longer your History must be. KINDRED…. If you want your character to be over 100+ years of age then you profile must not only be warranted by length, but quality as well. That means don’t submit a 500 year old Elder with three paragraphs of nothing.)
