Title: How Classic is this?
Description: Classic

TheUnkownGod - November 14, 2007 06:31 AM (GMT)
My cousin told me earlier today that she used to play with beyblades. She explained that back in the day, Her and a bunch of about 20 kids had their own tournaments at school. She didn't have her own beyblade, so her freinds let her borrow theirs.

She also remembers a boy that would come to school with the newest Beystadiums every time they were out in stores. How classic is that?!?

Brings back really good memories....

:)

Yeah, i know. I used to direct beyblade tournaments in my school too, Id have around twelve stadiums so all the kids got to beyblade. I also had a bunch of spare beyblades, the one i used was Master Dragoon. That is until I got my Dragoon HMS. It used to be awsome. :D

I and my friend were the only two that bladed in senior school (high school). there were others around where I live but never really got to battle them.

^_^; I was the one and only beyblader in my age group sadly so I never really got into it. I owned a blade once and used to match up against my Nephew but that's about it.

Kinda sad really.

There wasn't anyone in my area back in the days, but I have met many who used to blade on several occassions. I hope to make new memories next year once I get some of the new blades and maybe attend a tourney if there is one =3

I may arrange a tournament for the next MCM assuming that this other one doesn't go ahead for MCM. If it does then maybe October =D. The first official BeyUK.net tournament. I'm going to follow GBB's trend and use UK Revolution as the tournament name =D. Eat that Shadow lol.

Honestly I don't think he cares, he's been a moo since he started uni. And remember it is now Kaaa-geh.

I want to participate in a tourney, even though I know I'll get owned. Still be fun =P

Actually, Car-Gay XD. UK Revolution will be the name of the tourni. I will hope to get this together for the October Expo as there is already one in the summer =D. It will be arranged for the MCM Expo =D.

I remember when Beyblade was new here in Sweden and I brought my first beyblade with me to school. People was for the first time around me, showing intrest and thought it looked cool. After some weeks we were a lot of people going at it and many more that was watching. It sure had some epic moments. Before that, school had sucked ass, and it also did when beyblade disappeard from many of those peoples lifes. **** the school.

I remember something similar to that. Back when I was in 4th or 5th grade nobody know what Beyblade is at the school I'm from. I was just talking about the show with one of my friends in class and we decided to get our own toys to battle out during recess. Next thing you know everyone starts getting crowded around us to watch and than they all wanted one. It became popular at the time but since I got to high school no one knows about it anymore. Like it became extinct.

Amazing =DDD too bad, I never had a tournament in my school of Beyblades, my school teachers would've expelled me if we had a tournament lol... but still brings back memories battling with friends C=

Reading about Regj and Adiq2007's stories make me think about something. I heard someone say that metal fight beyblade was more popular and that it is all about promoting the toys. But I recall the early age of Beyblade, you couldn't walk outside your own home without finding kids playing the game. It was pretty much everywhere I don't know if it's just were I live but I've not seen a single metal fight battle anywhere around the neighbourhoods and stuff like it used to be with the original. Have anyone else noticed something similiar? :chin:

Exactly what you said Breedo. I haven't seen a single tournament or even kids playing since Metal Fight Beyblades came out here. Something that is popular is Bakugan, also card games like Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic is big. However... Beyblade seems gone, at least here.
