[Ceres]

Ceres kept her eyes on the ground and listened to him speak. "I know you don't expect me to be perefect." he said, and Ceres nodded. She didn't want to look at him right now. She felt rejected, and possibly unwanted. She knew it wasn't true, but it felt as though now that she was his mate she didn't matter as much. At least that's the feeling she got when he drew away from her.

"I draw away cause I can't take all the affection." He said in a cold tone, sending a pain through her. Her ears shot down again. "I honestly can only take so much, I'm not used to love you know that. I'm not used to kindness and I'm not used to being around other wolves." He said. "Ceres look at me enough looking at the ground for you. Your not some weak pack member your the alphess. Stand up strait and look at me when you speak. " he went on. Ceres sighed. She stood, walked over to him and glanced straight into his eyes. Not with anger, but with affection and because he had requested it of her.

"Just as you claim you cannt handle my affections, I cannot...handle your anger or dissapointment well. And maybe I'm not used to being an alphess yet. Maybe you could start remembering what I came to you as. A sunfire and a slave. Now I am your mate and a Blackbird. I gave you every part of me. I stand before you now an entirely different wolf than I was before, but I love you all the same. It is my nature and my way to be kind and affectionate and I will not change it to make you feel comfortable. If you wanted a mate that would show you no affection, I was a horrid choice...because I love you..." she said, her tone softening toward the end. "I love you, Xirikar, and I don't want you...to fear that love." she finished, forcing herself not to downcast her eyes. She would give anything for him, and the discomfort of eye contact was nothing to bare if it brought him the slightest satisfaction. Her eyes held determination, confusion and sorrow, but love shone through above all the rest.

Xirikar looked at her as a small smile stretched across his maw. He was glad to see those eyes looking at him and not the ground. Though he was feeling weak legged she just made him feel so different.

It is my nature and my way to be kind and affectionate and I will not change it to make you feel comfortable. If you wanted a mate that would show you no affection, I was a horrid choice...because I love you..." He knew that honestly he did and he felt like a real jerk at the moment. He couldn't seem to understand how she was the only wolf the only one who could make him feel low and horrid.

I'm sorry" he whispered looking into her eyes. He felt so bad and out of the corner of his eye he could see the fox coming their way. The rain was stopping and he just looked at her. "I so sorry Ceres" He tone genital and caring. He nuzzled her on the cheek as he whined begging for forgiveness. licking her anywhere he could reach he loved her so much.

Ceres never broke eye contact with him. She an her words through her mind, wondering if she'd been too harsh. She hoped not to hurt his feelings, and a sigh escaped her maw. She loved him too much to ever hurt him. Her eyes softened considerably as she heard his soft apology.

"My darling, I forgive you, though I was never really angry." she said, holding back her desires to show him sffection. She wanted to go to him and nuzzle and lick him and tell him she loved him, but not now. It would make him uncomfortable.

He then apologized again, and she could see the sincerity in his eyes. Her own ocean eyes held affection for him. He then nuzzled her, whning apologetically and licked her lovingly. She was so happy, and sighed contentedly, licking him back, whining lovingly. "Oh Xirikar, it's alright. It's alright." she said softly. "I'm glad we're on good terms."

He rested his head on her just feeling the light breathing. He was more content now and he had to learn to not lose his temper as much. He honestly couldn't see how much alike they were. He never wanted to disappointed her and hated when she looked at the ground.

"I'll try to never lose my temper that much"

His voice soft as he looked to her. His star the fea that he couldn't stay away from. His moment of peace was interrupted as Azk rejoined them. The storm had calmed to nothing but a light rain.

"You know I think its time you start moving out of here"

The fox asked as he looked at them Xiri was paying absolutely no attention to him.

She felt his head rest on her, an she held still, just so she could know he wouldn't move. She smiled, tail wagging. She was glad they hadn't gotten in a fight. She didn't know if she could have taken being angry at him for very long, or having him be angry at her. She nodded as he promised to try not to loose his temper. "And I will try not to be so sensitive, and I'll start acting more like an alphess." she promised.

Ceres then glanced at Azk as he spoke. She too ignored him for now. She would let Xirikar decide what to do. Really, she didn't know what Azk meant. For her to leave, or for all of them to head back to Cheveyo. Either way he was just a nuisance to her.

That was his girl he knew she had the heart for all this. He hoped to someday make her not so quite and shy she couldn't be that way. He wanted to help her and to love her he wanted her to know that but he couldn't just go and show it he wasn't good at that.

"I hope you know my dear you are my pride and joy."

Xirikar stood nudging her as he looked at the fox who had reemerged. He wondered if the fox and Ceres could ever get along. He knew how crafty the fox could be. Though he had no idea how wrapped around the foxes paws he was.

"Xirikar we came out her on a mission we should get back to it"

Xirikars attention turned to the fox as he though about it. It was a cruddy day he'd already been stuck out in one storm what if another one was going to roll around there was no way he was staying away from Cheveyo right now.

"Lets head home to Cheveyo Ceres."
