So. You are now a staff member. Congratulations. But there are a few things that determines if you are a
good staff member or not. Hopefully this will give you a few tips on being a good staff.

The main thing is to be as helpful as possible. Help members with their questions, mistakes, bad habits and many more. Be as kind and polite as possible.
I know proper English is hard sometimes, but try to use good vocabularies and not nOOb or cHatSpek. Encourage others to use proper Grammar and correct spelling. Do this by using them yourselves.

Please refrain from gossiping behind other's backs. It tends to spread unwanted rumors that can embarrass someone and therefore loosing another member.
Do whatever you need to do that is in your power to keep the site in peace. If you are unsure of something, post in this board. Don't scold a member for his/her mistakes. Instead, advise them and help them to correct their mistakes.
Last of all, have fun. We can't be having a sullen staff who doesn't have enough fun around the forum now, can we?

So go out there and show us that you're a better staff than we say you are.
I also have to say everyone must give respect. I've been on sites where staff have been very rude and I can't stand that. Respect gets respect, if I see any disrespect by the staff I will be sending out PMs to those people.
If someone is giving you trouble please please notify me or blackbird or berry we will take it from there. I have full faith in the staff and their abilities.
I also can't stress enough like I said proper grammar. Chat or L33t speak is starting to talk over and I refuse to have that here. Everyone slips once and a while if their used to using it but please don't do it.
(This was taken from me and my co-admin from my old site its dead now but it could be useful here.)
