Basic Role-Play Rules.

1. No double-posting. If you messed up, or wanted to add, modify your previous post, do not post again under it.

2. One wolf per account due to our species system and our pack system.

3. No Flaming. Do not use a RP to vent anger.

4. OOC comments must stay in (, ((, [], { }, or some other indication that your comment is OOC.

5. You must make the post a minimum of one paragraph. At least 6 good sentences.

6. Your username can be either your character's name or the OOC name we will call you by.

7. No God-moding/No Powerplaying. Do not control another person's character. You cannot move or use someone else's character with out permission.

EX. Josh picks up Bob, throwing him across the room.
Josh never had permission to do this, so it's power playing.

8. No Meta-gaming. Your characters know nothing unless the spirit guides tell them, and even this must go through the staff. This is all built into the plot.

Meta-gaming for those who do not know is when your character knows something that in honesty they don't

EX. The admins decide there will be a wild fire and it'll kill 6 wolves. Well say Tom's wolf is in a thread and says to the other wolf. "Oh watch out there's going to be a wild fire you don't want to be the one to die."

Well where did this wolf get his info? Nothing about the plots should be known by the wolves, unless admins ok it. So please don't do it.

9. Bunnying is allowed with permission from the other player.

Definition:

Bunnying:

Bunnying is a form of controlling the other character, but not exactly. Bunnying usually occurs with close friends or Role-players that greatly trust each other, and very responsible RPers. Bunnying is when a player slightly controls the other player's character.

Example:

Sarah: Sarah turned her head away, and smiled sweetly.

John: John laughed a bit, and so did Sarah. John lifted her chin and kissed her, then smiled as she turned red.

Now, Sarah NEVER Role-played or said that she blushed or laughed, but John took the liberty to make her in order to further story and make a better sequence of events. This is bunnying. Now, bunnying must be within the characters personality! If Sarah is shy, it is expected that she will blush. If john bunnyed saying slapped him, this would be God-moding and not bunnying. If you like to bunny, inform the other player and ASK if it is ok.

10. If you have asked a user for permission to move their character or hurt there character please at the top of your post write. (Permission to Gmod ect.. by so and so.) This lets us know that you have permission from the user and we will allow your post.

11. NO abbreviations or chatspeak in Role-playing. No L33T or whatever that is.

12. There is liquid time but you can only be in two threads at once two thats it.

13. You must state when you are leaving a thread. Putting *exit -character'snamehere* is an efficient way to do this.

EX. Sarah looked at her friends and smiled saying her good byes she turned and walked away humming to herself.

Fighting Rules

1. Do not god-mode in fighting. Your attacks do not always hit, and you can not always dodge. Period.

2. You can fight over whatever you want.

3. Main fights are over land and females.

4. Fights are moderated, but we do not decide what attacks hit and which miss, that is your decision. If God-moding or cheating occurs, a moderator will step in.

5. When Challenging for land, the current Alpha must ACCEPT the challenge. The alpha can refuse, but this is cowardly and dishonorable.

6. Obviously the winner of the fight gets whatever the fight was about.

7. With fights please decide the winner and hits and such through PM's or IM. That way there is little to no confusion.

Mating Rules

1. No graphic mating. Ever. Ever. Ever. Ever. Ever, and for all eternity. NEVER. Period. I think you got it. Now what is graphic? I do not want to know every step of the mating process. Does this mean you have to say “Larry wanted pups, and so he asked Linda. (Screen goes black) and poof puppies? No. you can role-play what happens, but I don’t want to know every bodily function your wolf goes through. If your wolves mate, by default put {M} so no one has to read it.

2. Pups are created by a staff member, and preferences vary from staff member to staff member, but personally, I will take one request for gender and appearance of a pup.

3. Both parents must post stats in the Blessings board to have pups.

4. Pups are posted as soon as the staff member that has claimed your pups makes them. Staff members can take up to two days, without complaints from the expectant parents.

5. Pup count varies with season and creator.

6. Some pups may be born dead.

7. Forced mating is allowed, with the consent of the player of the character.

8. Wolves may have more than one mate, if they want to be hated by other characters.
