A'mar walked slowly down the large corridor, his hand on Ifith's large shoulder and seeing through his dragon's eyes since the Blood-bonding. He was recently released from the infirmary by Journeyman Healer Danavas, but was under strict rules so he wouldn't overtax himself. Constantly he would have to stop due to the disorientation of turning his head and not having his "vision" go with him.
It also didn't help to see the other weyrfolk whispering to each other with pitying looks on their faces. At least he wasn't dead like some of the other former candidates at the hatching.
"But who had ever heard of a blind dragonrider?" A'mar nearly despaired at the thought as it was one of many that plagued him at night.
"You're not blind, mine. You see through my eyes so how can you be blind?" Ifith said as he turned to look at his rider.
A'mar smiled and felt for the bronze's eye ridge, giving it a scratch when he did. How odd it felt looking forward and seeing yourself. At least he didn't have to worry about having to find a mirror, he just had to have Ifith look at him, if he cared for that sort of thing.
