:Height:: 5' 9" about 1'81m
:Weight:: 120 lbs? around 80 kg (well he's some muscles but he isn't huge either)
:Hair:: Antius shaved off his hairs as was usualy done in the Roman military. Above his right brow there is a scar starting at the hairline above the right eyebrow running all the way to his shoulderplate (the bone on your back behind your shoulder)
The flesh of the scar is a reddish pink color and no hairs grows on it.
:Eyes:: A dark pupil, set in a bright and grey iris surrounded by a sea of white. His eyes express thousands of years of experience and wisdom. They show a life of hardships and loss.
:Physique:: As all militairy personel his body is shaped by hard training and battles. His legs are sturdy and tough with little fat, his arms are thin but are supported by long biceps and triceps. His upper body is scarred slightly, there's a puncture hole of an arrow from a life before on the keybone(? the bone's at the start of your neck just above the breast muscles).
:Traits:: Antius has his legion tag tattooed on his upper right arm. It says XXVII-I it's only a numbre, but it once stood for the 27th company of the Ist Legion.
:Picture:: I'm trying to be descriptive here, if you don't understand then IM me or something.
:Ranking:: Non-seated. Refuses to take a seat in his Taicho's division. He prefers the unanimity. 5th Division
:Country/time:: Gaul some 300 After Christ
:Clothing:: Standard Shinigami outfit. Wears a grey wristband with a hip dude from this century (Che Gevara, you know, the cold blooded killer from Cuba and other South-American countries. Trying to fight off corporate enslavement by the US of A)
Accessories:: The Zanpaku'tou resides on his back with a band wrapped from the right shoulder to the left hip. The band is decorated with a Raikire. It's the name for a mythological electrical Fox, but the name is crooked by the many translations into new languages (Latin first, then Spanish, then Turkish.... etc.)
He sometimes wears an ivory mask given to him once, but it bears no magical power or does it effect his strength in any other way. It's just decoration. The mask is a greyish blue. It is oval so it fits over his entire face.

:Weakness:: Lacks greatly in strength and has lost his ability to fight with a sword due to his intensive Kidou training.
:History::
About 1600 years ago he died, he was a soldier trained for battle... The last battle he fought turned out to be a treacherous one. He payed then the cost of treason. His general had received the order to kill so the 27th company was sent out to move around the enemy army and attack the snake's head. They knew certain death was in their future but an order of a general meant an order by the emperor. Defying the emperor meant defying the will of god. In a frantic battle in a field of tents the company slaughters it's way into the Tentcomplex of the Queen. As the 14 remaining soldiers take their stand against a druid's magic and the ferocious Queen's guard they know their objective was only a diversion. On the battlefield a giant victory is claimed by the General and as he enters the conquered camp he follows the trail of destruction to the Queens tent.... (More is archived in an Sample post prt.)
Following his death he lingered with the ghosts of the battle field and they fought countless of battles aas souls. They were damned to an eternal battle which would never end, was it not for Hollows. All those souls emitted a condense reiatsu that could almost be tasted. It was off course a feast for hollows.
A year passed before the first Hollow came to the fields and found it's first souls.
Although they feared the unknown beast, they were warriors once. They tried to slay the demon but found they could not, If they cut off an arm grew back on again and to stab it meant certain death. With all their might they tried yet they could not take it down. Then when the Hollow had already eaten many souls a portal opened. The doors opened by themselves and two people dressed in black with strange thin swords stepped through.
It was the first time Antius saw a Shinigami and his first impression was one of awe. The had the air of prestige and pride. One of the Shinigami, an average sized woman turned around and blew him a kiss when she blinked.
The other, a tall and lean man with long dark hair, unsheathed the tiny sword and Antius, shocked by the inapropriate but enthysing act of the woman, saw it had only one edge. He himself had only wielded a two edged short blade thought it weird. He did not think such a sword could cut anyhting.
In the blink of an eye the male Shinigami vanished. Only to reappear behind the Demon. Antius could not understand what had happened for he had never seen Shunpo let alone Hollows and Shinigami. But the hollow started to disintegrate.
The Female Shinigami turned and looked at Antius, she dashed towards him unsheathed her a foot away from his head. Antius feared another Death. But the woman intended not death, but salvation.
When he woke up the same woman stood before him, but he had left the swampy plains of Gaul and stood in the blessed realm of Soul Society. He wondered where he was and why he was dressed in this craze garment. He felt like a pampered baby, clean as a whistle but still.
The woman told him to enter the Academy for warrior, here words exactly, so he went there and his first lesson was to become a Shinigami in full, to get the robes and the weapon. So they poured Dark Powers into him (not literally).
He now had his own garment and weapon with the Raikire band. The made him take several courses but his best one was Kidou, this was extroardinary for students, but it still needed training. Defensive he wasn't bad either but his sword didn't pack to much punch so he relied on his Kidou and trained on it. Adapting spells to different situations.
Due to his harsh sparring matches, which he preferred, he become close friends with one of the healers of the Gotei 13. After every training she patched him up as good as she could.
They saw each other more and more and her skills improved as did his.
Antius enrolled in the 5th Division and could have obtained a 20-11 seat but refused the honor. Ever since the captain respected his choice and kept him unseated. But whenever something tough came up a 20-11 seated Shinigami could not clear alone Antius would be sent with them.

Antius and his companions grasped for air after their endless battle through the camp. And now the battle would truly begin.
Antius heard his commander shout the order to regroup and form a line.
It was a spearhead and they rushed at the guardsmen, the last obstacle between the soldiers and their objective. As their swords clashed they threw themselves upon the enemy and slaughtered one after another.
In the midst of the fight Antius found himself matched up against two heavily protected raw faced murders. He parried a thrust from the ugliest one and dashed past the blade towards the body. As he passed the guardsmen he thrust his short blade into the neck of the Gaul. Using the momentum created by the thrust he grabbed the dead man and threw him onto the other. Antius' foot jumped upwards and with it a shield came up from the ground into Antius' left hand.
The battle was over soon afterwards and they found themselves panting, but they did not worry. Only a single woman versus seven of Rome's finest, they did not bother and they attacked immediately. But they were fooled, for the woman was not alone. A wall of blazing fire seperated the soldiers from the queen and from behind her throne an old man stepped into the light of his own flames.
"I will not allow you to harm the queen. She has not yet fullfilled her obligations to us."
Behind them the soldiers heard that their general had entered the camp and that they now had an amazing advantage. but they could not pass through the fire.
Antius saw his general enter. A tall man with a big and bushy beard but long dark hair worn backwards with a little grey at the temples entered. He looked at the 27th company and looked flushed as if he had not expected them to still be alive.
"So you made it here did you? Well all the more fun for me."
The general took one of the soldiers by the head in what seemed to be a friendly greeting but he soon twisted the man's neck and disposed him. The general shouted something but Antius was so shocked by what had happened. His commander, Not his father only by genetics, the man he had looked up to his entire career was disposed off so easily. His commander had done anything for the general and this was how he was treated? As Garbage?
The order given by the general was obeyed and the tent was taken down. The fallen tent showed two rows of archers, somewhere around 20. The general took a few steps aside and laughed modestly as the archers opened fire and killed the queen, her protector and the only survivers of the 27th legion.
