He turned to her as she spoke those words. It had occured to him to sleep so close to her, but he didn't know how he would react to that kind of physical closeness. He wasn't sure if he could trust himself not to do anything with her inocent body beside his. He looked at her closely for a few silent moments then walked back to her and brushing aside her hair that covered the moon shaped marking he leaned down and kissed it softly before whispering. "If that is what you want then that is what shall do Celestia."

He smiled down at her and caressed her cheek. He then walked over to the bed and turned down the covers then he sat on one side of it taking off his boots and dropping them uncermoniously onto the floor. He then stood up and turned his head to look at her. "I should warn you now Celestia I don't sleep in much." With that he undid his jeans let them drop to the floor leaving him in nothing but a pair of shorts before he climbed into bed laying on his side so that his back was to her giving her the privacy that he didn't need but knew that it would be polite to give her.

She had her eyes still fixed on a spot on the ground, looking at it as if there was something so interesting it was hard to take her eyes away from it. But after a few moments the silence got to her and she looked up at him, meeting his gaze. She watched as he walked back to her and felt her heart start to race slightly as he brushed aside her bangs and leaned closer. Her eyes fluttered closed as she felt his soft lips against the mark.

"If that is what you want, then that is what we shall do Celestia." Her heart did a small jig at this and she couldn't help but smile. She looked back up at him and leaned into his hand as she felt it against her cheek. Then he walked to the bed and she turned, eyes scanning the room for the bag she had remembered bringing in. She walked to the back of the couch where it was and picked it up, turning back to him as he spoke. "Oh that's fine." She said before he began undressing. Her eyes watched his hands before she looked back up at him.

"Um, if I may ask, where is your bathroom?" She felt almost foolish for asking this. He had so obviously given her privacy by laying on is side, but still she felt uncomfortable undressing in front of a man. Even if this man happened to be her godfather and one she had loved since she was a little girl.

He looked over at her rolling onto his other side and pointed to the door he had come out of earlier. "Right there, Celestia." He watched as she moved away. His mind began to wonder about her as she was behind that closed door.

"No stop thinking that right now," he said softly shaking his head. He began to argue in his own head about what he was thinking. After all they had just shown how they felt about each other. But it was still strange to him to think about her body like that. His eyes and ears perked up as he heard the bathroom door open.

She turned and walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind her and leaning her back against it, closing her eyes for a moment. She then walked forward and put her bag on the toilet before opening it. She undressed and slipped on her nightgown before grabbing a hairtie from her bag. She stood in front of the mirror and slipped the tie in before looking at herself and down at the nightgown. She only just noticed how short it was, and how much of a problem it might be being in the same bed as James. Not much she could do about it though.

Slowly she opened the door, holding her bag in front of her knees as she stepped out of the bathroom. The nightgown had straps that hung off her shoulders and a low neck and backline. It was a soft pastel blue, bringing out the bright blue in her eyes. She walked out of the bathroom and put her bag down by the closet before walking around to the other side of the bed. She turned the covers down and sat down on the bed, her back to him for a moment as she looked down at the floor.

"Thank you for letting me use your bathroom." She said softly before she turned and looked at him over her shoulder. Self conscious she was, and she couldn't help that fact.

He sat up straight at the sight of her. He couldn't take his eyes from her. Her beauty was now far more aparent than it had ever been before. As she drew nearer his heart began to race. He was sure she could hear the sound of it thumping agianst his chest.

"You're welcome," he said in a soft voice.

He then did something he hadn't planned on doing he moved closer to her and kissed the back of her neck. He kissed the spot gently as eh looked up into her eyes before moving and kissing her lips softly.

His voice made her smile and sent a slight chill up her back. She turned her head back to look at the ground, her hair hanging over one of her shoulders. She was about to turn as she heard the bed move, but then she felt it. The lightest of touches on the back of her neck. Her eyes closed slowly at the feeling, knowing it was his lips. The motion made her heart skip and her breath caught in her chest. He pulled away then and she turned her head to look at him. Then he moved closer and kissed her.

She put her hand on his cheek as she felt his lips against hers, returning his kiss and nearly melting under it. She had never felt a kiss like this. Slowly she turned before pulling back from the kiss and looking up at him, dropping her hand and letting her fingers run lightly against his skin. Her hand landed softly in her lap and she looked down for a moment before looking back up at him.

"What was that for?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper and the softest it had ever been. She was so taken aback by it she couldn't even begin to imagine why.

He smiled at her and said in a soft voice. "That was for me Celestia."

He leaned forward and caressed her cheek kissing her deeply. He smiled against her lips as he rubbed his thumb against her skin. He whispered softly against her lips. "And that was for you Celestia. I love you."

He moved back a bit and laid down on his side looking up at her. He was resting on his elbow smiling at her. "So are you going to get some sleep or just sit there staring at me?"

His soft voice seemed to caress her ears, her eyes closing even before he leaned forward. She felt his hand on her cheek and then his lips against hers and she smiled. Raising her hand, she placed it lightly on the side of his neck as she returned his kiss. His thumb moving against her skin sent shivers down her back and made her heart skip. It nearly stopped when she heard his three last words.

"I love you." Surely he didn't mean that. But then, the way he had acted the past couple of times just showed that he did in fact mean what he said. She looked down at the bed as she felt him move back and lay down. Biting her lip slightly she mulled everything over in her head for a moment. Was this right? Was it okay?

His words brought her back up to look at him. She smiled slightly as he finished and she brought her feet up, moving them under the blankets before pulling them up, lying on her side with her back to him. It was the only way she was used to sleeping. She closed her eyes, still shuffling things around in her head. "G-good night.." She said in a soft voice.

He smiled as he watched her as she lay down beside him. What he did next was instinct once again. He reached out and wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close to him. His bare chest pressed against her bare back. He kissed the back of her neck again smiling against her skin. Then he whispered softly into her ear. "Good night Celestia. I love you."

He rested his head lightly against hers as he closed his eyes. It had been a long time since he had shared a bed with a woman. And not just any woman, but a female lycan. He smiled as he pulled her a little closer. Little did he know that his body was betraying his instincts.

Celeste's eyes were closed as soon as she laid down. When she felt his arm snake around her waist, she almost jumped, instead biting her lip slightly and opening her eyes to look at the ground. When he pulled her closer and his chest pressed against her back, she closed her eyes. The sensation made her skin crawl, and all at once her animalistic instincts filled her. She felt his soft lips against the back of her sensitive neck and she bit her lip slightly harder, closing her eyes as she fought to keep the feelings at bay.

He spoke and her heart skipped again. It had been a long time since someone had said that to her, and here he had said it twice so far. When he rested his head against her and pulled her close, she opened her mouth as the instincts crawled through her body and fought to take control of her. It wasn't until a few moments later that she flew out of the bed and leaned against the wall, her back to it as she looked over at him.

She closed her eyes and leaned her head to face the ground. "I-I'm sorry, James. I don't know if that was such a good idea." She fought to keep her voice under control, but it shook a little as she leaned back against the wall. Her hands curled into fists against the wall as she took a couple of breaths to try and take more control over her instincts, which were pressing against her skin in a desperate attempt to escape and take over. She was biting her lip so hard by that point that it had started to bleed.

He stayed there in bed looking up at her for a few seconds before climbing out of bed and walking across the room. He stopped by her for a moment. "You're right."

He moved past her and opened the door and sat down on floor of the hall and smiled at her. "You can just tell them I got too grabby."

He closed the door and leaned against it his weight causing it to creak slightly. He shook his head softly as he realized that he had frightened her. He could still smell it even from out there. He had known her for a long time had lost her then found her again and he still knew so little about her. He should have known that something that felt right with him might not have felt the same for her.

"For a man who has seen many things in his life a woman is still the most complicated thing to ever exist," he sighed and closed his eyes his head still against the door.

Celeste's eyes never left him as he stood up and walked toward her. If he had really paid attention to her, he would have noticed that her eyes were starting to change as they would had she been transforming. He walked to the door and she watched out of the corner of her eye, her head tilted down so she looked at the ground. When she heard the door close she slid down the wall, a soft cry escaping her lips as she sat down with her knees to her chest.

She knew this man. He was a friend to her, and had found her after all of this time. Yet here she was, denying herself what she had always wanted with him. Was she just afraid? Was she worried that he wouldn't reciprocate the same feelings as she was? And yet, she was frightened. Not of him, or anything that he had done. She was frightened of what her reaction was to everything. She had never so strongly felt this way about something, or someone. It had never caused her wolf to want to overpower her human instincts more than it had that night.

Slowly standing up, Celeste took a couple of breaths. Already the urges were starting to calm down, and she walked to the door. Putting her hand on the knob, she waited a moment before turning it slowly and opening it, looking down at him after the door was already open wide.
