[Felecity]

Charlie crouched low in the tall grass. He was hidden behind a tree, with only one eye poking out. He dared not to breath. He suddenly felt the world shift, and he was all alone, a hunter.

He watched and waited. The river moved by continuesly, making just enough noise to cover up his own movements. He heard a small snort, and then a squeel as his object of interest came into view.

A little pink piglet. It trotted along the banks of the dark river in dazed confusion. It's soft baby skin was flushed a light pink, and its bones almost showed through piglet fat.

It wiggled its snout in delight as it found the only source of water in the whole forest. The one its mother had let it to countless times.

Waiting in his invisible position, Charlie watched for the perfect moment. And it came. The little piglet turned towards the murky water and stuck its face in, taking in a cool drink.

Charlie rushed from his hiding spot and leapt at the little creature. He scooped it up with his one hand and held it tight to his chest. It began crying and screaming its protests. And little feet pushed violently at his chest.

The boy quickly fell to the earth and layed his body over the pig in an attempt to keep it still. In exhaustion and defeat, it finally grew still. Its little lungs panting desperatly for more air.

Fen walks down the dark river feeling the warm breeze press on his coat and body; the musk of nature filling his lungs and the taste of survival kept him satiated. He observed a 1 armed lycan boy slay a pig...

"survival of the fittest aye?" Fen said dropping his bag wondering if this boy would attack him to but despite the paranoia he stood up stait lazily to decieve the lycan.'It probably doesn't have complete conciousness right now so it'd be best not to kill though since he wouldn't be able to remember it I could probably remove that stubbed arm for him...' he thoughts raced as he watched the boy and the pig... Fen wondered if the boy was using his lycan powers for survival; leisure or subconciously....

(I dunno if I got that post right; is he in were-form; full human or full beast? and is it daylight or nighttime?)

Charlie loosened his grip on the pig as he felt it give in, and stared down at the little thing. He rolled onto his side slightly, to make sure he wouldn't hurt the little guy. Just as he did, the man behind him caught in the corner of his eye.

He swung around, his heart racing for a moment. He took one look at the man, and calmed down. The man seemed relaxed, no weapons visible, and no dangerous scent.

The boy quickly sat up, so that he was facing the stranger. He got onto his knees and pushed the piglet between them so he could hold it easier.

He was quite sure what the man meant, but he put on a smile in greetings. "Oh, eh, hullo! Can I help ya?" He felt as if the man was a customer in the pet store.

Fen sighs and sits down before looking at the boy through his shades... This boy seemed to have abnormally strong survival instincts; and what's more was he only had a stub of an arm; it surprised Fen how good this boy was with that arm of his...

"Oh, eh, hullo! Can I help ya?" the boy asked

Fen smiles "well you seem like a friendly one; careful about eating that thing raw; it might do more harm than nourishment for you..." Fen says observing the boy carefully once more. Fen adjusts his glasses and looks into the flowing river seeing his own reflection. Fen looks closely at himself and then the boy... "So where are your parents?" Fen asks inquistively; not trying to be particularly nosey but he is a bit concerned for the young lycan; though Fen can't tell that he's a lycan he can tell that the boy is not a human being.

Charlie followed the man with his blue eyes to his seat on the ground, and then looked back at the little pig. He scratched it under a floppy ear, and suddenly it oinked in delight. He looked back at the man as he began to speak.

"Well you seem like a friendly one; careful about eating that thing raw; it might do more harm than nourishment for you..."

Charlie's eyes went wide in surprise. He took an uncertain glance at the piglet he held, then back at the stranger. He laughed like the happy kid he was.

"Raw? No way! I would never eat this guy!"

He smiled, and laughed again, getting ready to explain. "See...someone just killed his mum this mornin', and I was gonna take him back to the pet shop, cause he'd die all alone!"

He smiled his toothy grin. So this stranger wasn't human? No human could tell, off the bat, that Charlie was lycan. No way.

"Raw? No way! I would never eat this guy!"

The boy smiled, and laughed again, getting ready to explain. "See...someone just killed his mum this mornin', and I was gonna take him back to the pet shop, cause he'd die all alone!"

Fen grins "I see; I thought you were catching supper; sorry bout that". Fen then observes the piglet's wounds and realizes that it's wounds aren't life threatening... Fen is taken by surprise at this. "you got some pretty good percision" Fen comments noticing this.

Charlie smiled uncertainly at the man's comments. What was he doing out here? A walk in the forest? But Charlie had been in the forest countless times, and knew who all of the regular passer by people were, even if they didn't know him. No, this guy was definitely new to town. There was no possible way that this oddball man could go unnoticed.

He quickly pulled a dog collar from one of his big pockets and snapped it on the piglet's neck, and then connected a leash to that. With the pig secure, he let out a breath of air and crashed down on his butt in exhaustion. He had been chasing the pig all morning and into afternoon.

Back tracking on the man's earlier question; "Well...yeah, so it's just you and me. My dad, I don't know if you know Bluex Felecity, he's back at the pet shop."

"So, are you just passing through town or something?"

"Well...yeah, so it's just you and me. My dad, I don't know if you know Bluex Felecity, he's back at the pet shop."

Fen nods signalling that he understands. "Bleux; that's a pretty interesting name.... 'zit French? And it's nice to here he's an honest working man; probably a good rolemodel for you " Fen says smiling.

"So, are you just passing through town or something?"

Fen shakes his head and noticed that maybe the boy was a little uncomfortable around him. 'so maybe he's a vampire... no a vampire wouldn't have had the self control not to drain that piglet and would've exploded in the sun...' Fen begins to wonder.

"no sir I'm homeless at the moment; looking for something to do and somewhere to stay; been using the inn's showers and bathrooms but for some reason I can't sleep there; to many damn v'mpi... I mean it's just a bit uncomfortable" he says trailing off.

[Felecity]

"Bluex; that's a pretty interesting name.... 'zit French? And it's nice to here he's an honest working man; probably a good role model for you "

Charlie nodded back. "Yeah, well, we get along pretty well." He loosened his hold on the leash so the pig could get a good drink from the river. he looked the guy up and down this time, and took a quick unnoticeable sniff of the air.

Smells shifting through his mind, afternoon humidity, slow drying pine, crisp water, and the man's sent, clear as the river was murky. But what was so clear about it Charlie had no possible idea. It confirmed his knowledge of the man's inhuman nature, although, lycan and vampire was a definite no. He did have a nice scent though, one that Charlie liked, and immediately he felt more secure. And he knew the answer to his question before the man even responded. He just had that sort of natural scent, one achieved this only by spending so much time outdoors.

Charlie couldn't help catching that half spoken word, but decided to pretend other wise. "Oh...oh well. My dad and I stayed there when we first moved here, and it was kinda weird." He thought about inviting the guy to spend a few nights with them until he finds a better situation, but quickly took the words from his mouth. He didn't even know this guys name! Besides, just because he liked the stranger didn't mean that Bluex would.

"Hey, how rude of me. I'm Charlie Felecity."

Fen smiles and extends his hand to shake "the names Fenrisulfr...errr just call me Fen; my full name is a bit much to say an a pain to remember anyways... Anyways it's a pleasure to meet you Charlie" he said laughing a bit. "So I take it you also have a diffability" he said keeping a bit of a smirk commenting to Charlie's arm; He pulled off his shades "I got the physical eyesight of a bat so I wear shades to enhance my abilities with my other 5...4 yeah 4 sences and make sure my eyes don't get damaged any further" he said revealing his sapphire and topaz colored true blue eyes before hiding them with his shades once more. His intentions are to let the boy understand that he means no harm at all but he has to keep the nature of his being a secret.

Charlie dropped the leash and shook the man's hand, feeling the roughness of his whole being just through fingers and palm. He quickly snatched the leash back up.

"Nice to meetcha to, Fensi...Fen." He smiled and his blue eyes flicked around, feeling Fen's gaze on his stump of an arm.

"So I take it you also have a diffability"

He gave a light laugh as the man finished his statement. "Oh, this thing?" He lifted the arm slightly and looked at it. "It's just..uh, a minor discomfort. It's better than nothing, though." And he meant it. He'd much rather have one big finger to help his other hand, than nothing at all.

He took a quick peek at the man's dazzling eyes, and wipped the back of his hand over his forehead. "Yeah, it does get pretty hot and sunny around here. But you survive as long as you can hop from shadow to shadow. I can't say much for the vampires, though" He laughed heartily at his own joke, not minding if Fen didn't. He might as well not try avoide the topic of vampires.

Fen smiled "no really your arm is a blessing in diguise; it makes you more aware; more ready; and you'll get your fair trade for it someday" Fen said after the boy talked about his arm as if it was a curse"

"Yeah, it does get pretty hot and sunny around here. But you survive as long as you can hop from shadow to shadow. I can't say much for the vampires, though" said Charlie

Fen continued to smile "I knew it... you aren't ignorant to the truth of this universe; and esspecially this town. I'm sorry I tried to hide the word v'mpire from you but... yeah heheeheh" Fen said; he was now intrigued by the boy; 'obviously he isn't human' Fen thinks. "If you don't mind the inquisition what are you... you know; really?" Fen asked lifting an eyebrow; his shades hiding a look of wonder in his eyes.

Charlie thougth about bargaining with the man; sharing his species to learn of the man's. But It didn't matter to much. He really had nothing to hide, unless it was a human that scared easily. And, if Fen didn't think it was a good idea to let his species be known, then Charlie respected that.

"Well, if you didn't already guess, I'm lycan. Or...er, werewolf if you know that term better. I suppose it doesn't really matter what you call it."

Charlie put on a shy smile, wondering if the man would suddenly turn cold. But he didn't think so. This guy, from the beginning, knew something. Charlie didn't think his species was any surprise to Fen. Besides, if he had anything against supernatural creatures, the stranger would have turned tail and run by now.

Fen smiles again when Charlie admitted to being a lycan...
"lovely... such a wonderful gift isn't it? I know people refer to it as a curse but in truth... well actually I want you to tell me about your... other; your... partner ya know?" Fen trys to be careful with his words as many lycans were sensitive about their other. Fen crossed his legs and put his palms on his kneecaps looking like a wise old sage anxious to further understand Charlie.

"Lovely... such a wonderful gift isn't it?" Charlie quickly looked down at the ground, staring at a blade of grass as it tossed in a slight breeze. Not quite a frown on his face. It was a wonderful gift indeed, most of the time. It saved his life, and it made life missing a limb quite bearable.

"I know people refer to it as a curse but in truth... well actually I want you to tell me about your... other; your... partner ya know?"

Charlie looked at him uncertainly, not sure if he liked this conversation suddenly. He realized the guy was just curious, but...

"Partner?....like, the spirit wolf? Well...I. What do you want me to say?" He felt like he was in school or the police office..or something.
