It had been a long time since he had done this. He let his coat drop to the ground, and stretched out his left arm and fingers to the small spec of sun that came through the trees. He smiled to himself as he took off his glasses and laid them upon his coat. Slowly he began to perform the movements that he had learned so many years ago. The movements that were as natural to him as breathing.

He trained for nearly an hour before stopping, he hadn’t even broken a sweat even with the temperature as hot as it was. He rubbed his right arm slightly. Thinking about whether or not to practice with it, after all he hadn’t used it in a long time in this way. As he began to move his arm slightly something caught his attention. “Alright I know you’re there. You can stop hiding and come on out.”

Luthien had discovered the man but moments ago. He hadn't planned on meeting anyone in particular this day but as he was in passing the man caught his attention and he could not help but admire his form and well practiced maneuvers. Luthien had always admired a practiced and skilled hand who devoted so much of themself to an art.

His casual observance, however, Luthien did not expect to be detected. When the man stopped and called Luthien to show himself he could not help but obey. It would be an insult to show himself to one he has just observed.

Luthien made his way forward beyond the cover of shadow and showed himself to the man. He scented the air about the individual. he was no lycan...his scent was familiar to that of the woman he had met nights previous. If there were to be a fight, he must not take his opponent lightly.

"I mean no harm...I simply am a passerby. I saw you training and was impressed by your form. I have never seen nor fought against a style quite like yours."

Luthien found it rather strange that on a day when he were to train himself he would encounter another of great skill intent on the same action. What fortune would come from carrying a sword on this day, either a good fortune or ill he did not yet know.

{{Sorry bout the quality of this man, its not quite as good as I would like but hopefully it can get this match started}}

Soul:
O, WHO shall from this dungeon raise
A soul enslaved so many ways ?
With bolts of bones, that fettered stands
In feet, and manacled in hands ;
Here blinded with an eye, and there
Deaf with the drumming of an ear ;
A soul hung up, as 'twere, in chains
Of nerves, and arteries, and veins ;
Tortured, besides each other part,
In a vain head, and double heart ?

Kyle looked at the man for a moment. Though he looked like he had relaxed he didn't. From the moment he had felt this man's aura he knew that he was very strong. His right arm tingled slightly as the man came in to view. He smiled warmly at him and waved with his left hand. Though his appearance gave off a the look of relaxation his entire aura was reaching out to make sure no one snuck up on them. Judging by the sword the man carried, even though he said he ment know harm he could just be lieing. Though something about him told him other wise.

"I didn't mean it like that. I just don't like it when I have an audience who I can't see." Kyle walked towards the man. "The name is Kyle Deimone. Thanks for the compliment. I've had years of practice." He extended his left hand to the man.

"Thats a very nice sword you have there my young friend. And judging by the way you hold it you know how to use it. It makes me wonder just how well you know how."

Luthien took the man's left hand in a firm, solid hand shake and gave a respectful smirk in return. He was rather surprised, though this man was a vampire and no doubt had an idea what Luthien was he did not seem at all hostile towards him, in fact he seemed quite kind.

"Years of practice I would definitely believe. And I can also respect your desire to at least see who is watching you, nothing is more distracting than knowing someone is there but not having them in sight."

Luthien gazed at the man's right arm and then back at his left. It was rather strange for someone to shake with their left hand regardless of which was dominant, and as he could recall, the man never used his right hand during his earlier movements. There was something odd about that hand and what it was Luthien was unsure, but he was certain he would be wary of it. He looked down at his sword reverently and smiled as he remembered the day Grandpa Joe had given it to him.

"A fine sword indeed. A gift from a very close friend of mine, as were the method of using it. I would not go so far as to say I am a master of this fine blade, but neither am I incomptetent. and what about you sir? Do you use a blade or do you trust in other means?"

Kyle smiled before taking a few steps back. "Yes actually I do use a blade. Though I don't carry it out in the open as you do." He walked a few paces away before turning around slightly. "I noticed you've taken an interest in my right arm. Well let me tell you something quite plain and simple." He raised his right arm up and pulled the sleeve of his shirt up and flexed his arm showing the tribal tattoos that ran up the full length of his arm. "If you ever see these glowing while in the middle of a fight. Run away or you will DIE!"

Kyle rolled his sleeve back down and repositioned his arm in its sling. Then he pulled a knife out of his boot and placing the handle in his mouth he cut a small line into his left hand then spat the knife out and it sunk into the ground. "So you wanna see my blade?" He placed his hand against the ground and moved his hand to form a blood pattern on the ground. Then he murmured a few words and his eyes began to glow. Then he thrust his hand into the ground several chunks flying into the air with small bolts of blue electricity. Then he pulled his hand out of the ground, and as he did so an elegant rapier followed. It seemed to radiat power.

Luthien stood transfixed for a moment more as the man performed this interesting ritual. The power the man must posses to be able to store and summon a blade at will was incredible, especially one that seemed to be as powerful as this. Of course power or no power he had not unlocked the power of his own blade and the fact that the other man's weapon was intrinsically faster than his own was of no comfort.

"Impressive...most impressive. Does it not waste energy, however, storing and summoning your blade so often?"

Luthien regarded the man carefully, he was going to have to be on constant guard during this match and even the slightest of mistakes could surely cost him dearly, spar or not. Luthien turned his body, moving his right foot back and his torso with it, leaving only his left side facing his opponent. he held his sword in a vertical position, blade at shoulder level, edge up, hilt back to his right shoulder, point directed at his enemy. He spread his legs comfortably at shoulder width and moved down into a relaxed, slightly crouched position.

"Shall we begin?"
