Sunny Day, AW {+ Anubis}

Anubis nodded at her statement. "I will call him then. Though I have to warn you...he's not very accepting of newcomers, but follows orders none the less. He won't question your being here once he's told of your new rank."

With that, Anubis turned his head to the skies and howled to the betan.

Torrn sniffed around the edge of the meadow. His yellow and black pelt blended in with the tall grass. He had been searching the borders for signs of intruders upon his alpha's lands. That's when he heard Anubis' call. "What could Alpha Anubis want with me? He's told me to search the borders." Never the less, Torrn dropped what he was doing and went to answer the call.

Approaching the area where his alpha normally hung out, Torrn noticed a black form alongside Anubis. The form wasn't male like most of the pack mates he knew. It was a fae. A young one from the looks of it. As he approached the pair, his nose caught the scent of loner mixed in with the Arcanian of Anubis.

Ignoring the fae rather rudely for now, Torrn turned to Anubis. "You called, Alpha?"

Bumble nodded to Anubis and smiled. She would have to act her part now, she didn't want any members thinking her soft or weak. She watched the surrounding area as the call rang out around them, and watched, and waited.

Soon she saw a black and yellow wolf come up to them and speak to Anubis. She gave a coy smile as she walked up to him and bowed her head to the Betan. "Anubis has told me you are Betan Thorrn. It is a pleasure to meet you." She got right to the point, if you hesitated, it could be the last move you ever make! "I am your new Alphess." She said casually, as if they were talking about the weather.

"It's Torrn actually, M'lady," the betan replied. Had the alpha chosen a mate now? This fae looked like Torrn, only in reverse coloration. "And what might your name be?"

Torrn turned to Anubis. "I haven't found any trace of wolf activity in the Rencora territory, sir. It seems the lands are deserted now."

"I've not heard anythign of the Dracosian either. It seems the humans have driven them out. That leaves we Arcanians and the Tuscorian desert wolves." Anubis replied. He clearly disliked the humans and didn't care much for the Tuscorian either. The Gathering was approaching fast, and with only two packs remaining, the issue of taking the Rencora and Dracosian lands would most definatly come up.

"It's Torrn actually, M'lady, and what might your name be?" Bumble smiled slyly and gave a chuckle. "Sorry, Torrn. I apologize, names are not my strong point. My name is Bumble Bee, but you may call me either Bumble or Bee. Whichever tickles your fancy." Bumble chuckled and looked to Anubis. She didn't know anything about the two packs, or humans for that matter.

She sniffed and rolled her shoulders around, peering at the two. She didn't mind humans, but she could see Anubis didn't really like them. She shrugged. "Well, once we're strong enough, we can take the other pack. This pack allready look quite trong so.." She shrugged again. She would have to get used to this Alphess stuff.

Anubis looked from his beta to his alphess. "I'm not looking for a fight with the Tuscorian, Bumble." Raiz may be a desert wolf, but he was Anubis' equal in battle. The two had crossed paths once before when Anubis had claimed this land before the Tuscorian leader. But there was a dark secret between the two that hindered matters.......

They were brothers.


EDIT: Since this thread has not moved, Anubis and Torrn will be heading for the gathering. Bumble, you are welcome to come along.

IC: Anubis looked to the setting sun. The Gathering was swiftly approaching, and as alpha he had to be there. "It is time for the Gathering to commence. Torrn, I want you to come along. Bumble, you are free to come as well, if you choose."

With that he turned and headed for the Gathering Stones.

Torrn lingered a minute before following the alpha. Whether or not Bumble decided to follow was her choice. She had an invitiation from Anubis.
