Yup, while browsing the old GW site I stumbled upon the old Interactive guard painter. Now seeing that I have seen at least a hundred posts on varing boards asking what happened to it and if anyone could create I new one I thought I'd give you all a chance to get it yourself and not infringe on GW's IP. Here's what it looks like:

First thing you need to do is follow this link:
Way Back Machine - Interactive Imperial Guard Painter

You should get the old GW site with the interactive painter shown. If all you see is broken links, be sure to scroll down. At this point you could simply bookmark the page because the painter shown still works.

Of course there are ways that you can save this to your computer but I'm not sure if that would be going to far, so I'll let you figure that part out. Unless a Mod says it's ok for me to post it.

@ the Mods. If you feel that this is against the boards rules please feel free to delete it (I know you will). I was just thinking of helping the community.

Funny, works on mine....

Are you sure it's Chrome? Like I mentioned there are times where the site just won't load, or gives you errors, only after hitting reload or waiting a few minutes it works again...

Ah wait, forgot to scroll down, there was a bunch of 'Image link broken' logos there which I assumed were the actual thing. Silly me. armata_PDT_28.gif

Ha, yeah it doesn't. I don't know what your supposed to have, I've used the latest versions of IE, Opera, Firefox and Chrome on their site and I always get that warning on the top. Something they wrote in the site doesn't jive with browsers, and they're not much help in determining what it is.

I remember this. Although I would love someone to create one like the Bolter and Chainsword painter.

That is pretty clever! Too bad you can't do cammo patterns, or pick certain areas of the model to color (like the clip, or the butt of the gun)

Edit: Huh, now it doesn't show it at all.

Erm... To notify you, The Bolter and Chainsword are in the process of creating an Imperial Guard painter that is alot more detailed. It also allows camoflague patterns and may,I repeat, MAY, be upgraded to use wargear changes to the image, like their current beta Marine painter.
