Colonel Group: Squaddie Posts: 3,094 Member No.: 940 Joined: 2-November 06	Short battle report here. Tied for 2 objectives each with the manager calling time on the board, I had to finish up my combat phase. Bjorn the fell-handed was steadily munching through the 20 man/commissar squad, and the 2 depleted squads of grey hunters cowered on objectives under the gaze of the remaining 60+ guardsmen. Bjorn raised his claws and killed 3 guard (down to only 12, hah) and at that moment, the squads commissar lept up and chucked his meltabomb, successfully hitting on a 6. After an untroubled penetration.... A 6 was rolled for damage. "Thats okay, hes a venerable dread" came the reply... and the dice was rolled again, and it was a 6. After failing his invul save, Bjorn exploded - and after claiming the game was a draw I politely reminded him that Bjorn's corpse counts as an objective, and that now i win 3-2. The redemptionists have won thier first game in almost 3 years

Sergeant Group: Squaddie Posts: 116 Member No.: 1,732 Joined: 4-January 08	Congrats D503. However.. last I checked Commissars couldn't get Melta Bombs, unless ofcourse it was a Commissar Lord. Sergeants on the other hand can indeed get Melta Bombs. /Cheers Rangeltoft

that was a list error...

My 20 man squads now go to war with 2 meltabombs (one on each sargent) for double the hilarity.

Nice button-up at the end. Bjorn is a powerful asset to the Space Wolves (our answer to Ironclad Dreadnoughts) but his Objective thing can be a kick in the groin plate for Space Wolves.

Clearly the Wolf-er you faced doesn't follow my hard-wired thought pattern of "ALWAYS KEEP BJORN BACKED UP WITH INFANTRY"

Betcha he'll think about that from now on.
