That link will take you to a post about a guy adding some wash to his alternative hydra turrets. They essentially consist of the mega-bolter housings from a Stormlord kit. What do you guys think? I thought maybe add some sort of radar dish to the top and this might be good to go. I'd be using them on chimera chassis, though, not the missile carriers used here.

Edit: Here's the finished product...

I love it ! wub2.gif

Radar on top of the turret might look a little tall , the elegance is that it doesn't look out of place.

However , a medium sized radar on it's own stand , with a cable leading to the tank , would be far cooler.

Maybe the radar could be on a trailer that get detached hen the gun is set up ?

I like the idea here, its simple and effective. However, I really don't like the look. Its too stubby for my taste.

That being said, its a good build. I think the smaller radar turret, the kind you get with a Chimera kit, may work pretty good here.

I had read someplace about someone who was using dual Punisher guns for a hydra mount but this seemed like it might be easier for those like me whose plasticard-fu is weak. Plus it has the advantage of having been designed to blend with Imperial tech. it is a bit more bulky than what i had in mind but that would allow it to be used on a chimera roof, I think, since it would suggest that the ammo and elevation/traversing gear is inside the box.

Which smaller radar turret? I'm completely drawing a blank here.
