Well, this has come up twice now at two different stores. Perhaps I am getting one of the many editions fouled up or maybe they are wrong. I can't find anything to disprove or even prove either is right.

Squad inside Chimera can shoot out, 5 to be exact. Squad Shoots at Target A. People claim you cannot shoot the Chimera at Target B as they are the same squad. I've read under squads in transports and looked in shooting to no avail in the rules. Technically they are two seperate units, just one happens to be inside the other. This is how I've always played, each can shoot a seperate target. Could someone show that I am right or wrong? Page references would be wonderful also.

A squad that resides within a transport can fire at a different target than the vehicle, they count as two separate squads (just occupying the same space for awhile). The above FAQ from GW settles this dispute, I'm sure.

Thanks! I knew it was somewhere but it was really bothering me. I didn't go to that FAQ, I checked only the IG one. That almost screwed me one game and another the guy forced the issue arguing it with me. I went on and did the shot at his Obliterator and he rolled a 1 and died to a single multi laser shot! HAH! Just deserts!
