Forge World Ork Vehicles, What do you think?

What do you think of the new ork vehicles from forgeworld?

Pretty cool, I've always loved the pure orkyness of FW's Ork models.

3 structure points is a little over the top for a tank that's barely large than a Land Raider,
IMHO, it shouldn't be a super-heavy at all.

I love the special rules for it though, very random and orky

The Ork dreadnought is a little OTT , sre it's very Orky , but a little smaller might have been better.

Having a tank that hard makes cover saves hard to get. [Un-orky , but something to think about.]

Just to throw this out there....but why would you BUY a resin kit for an ork vehicle, when you could just look at those pictures, and make it from scrap bits?

That would make it more Orky.

i think the mega dread is awesome and gives hope that they will do knight class titans in the next IA book with Eysians vs orks , makes me wonder whats planned for the guard? so far i've see passenger set for a valk but nothing on the scale of these orky things , airmoble light artillery would be nice like WW2 parachute regt

Guys, I tried asking this once over on Warseer, and I was met with flames of "NOT ALL OF US LIKE CONVERTING."

To which I said "Don't play Orks then."

Jeez, I should be playing Orks at that rate. If only all of their vehicles didn't look like crap and had the clean lines of a Leman Russ.

I would have called them massive pussies and unworthy of orkdom in that case.

Its almost enough for me to dig out the Gorkamorka rules and have a few games. Even have the "Kill Da Dread" scenario from White Dwarf lying around, perfect for the Mega Dread. But seriously, I like the fact the Orks have some proper kits from Forge World (That said, I'd much prefer scratchbuilding some vehicles, but meh, some people want to take the easy/more expensive road)

I'd probably go for the ordinary kits then buy a load of plastic hotrod and dragster kits from a hobby shop and mash the lot together. And for good measure WW2 weapons accessories aswell.

Never really liked Warseer, everything got too bogged down too quick.

But yeah, why buy resin models when a leman russ and some palsticard would be cheaper and, judging by the whining of some resin users, easier.

Don't even need a russ, I could make a "mega dread" (its just a small stompa!) from a lampshade's frame and plasticard.

Oddly enough, I said something similar about the Stompa just before it was released. It looked like someone got a flowerpot and stuck some plasticard on it.
