Hi there.
I thought I try to post some picts here.

I'm pretty undecided about the name. The idea was to create a PDF regiment from a highly industrialized world with lots of shiny toys and above avarage training (as far as IG training goes). "Mannerheim 23rd TAG" or something to that effect; any input on your part with the name would be appreciated armata_PDT_34.gif

So let's try this:

And my WIP stuff:

Still have 30-40 models to assemble dead2.gif armata_PDT_32.gif

Enjoy,

These guys are cool. Very clean paitning, and good highlights. The fur is... odd, but a nice touch. Makes them look as a important as they sound! The eldar in the foot contrasts nicely with the rest of the model, but doesn't take the attention. Bravo!

I like them, I like the splinter camo on them, that looks very cool. The only thing I'm not sure about is the camo netting on the sentinels it looks a bit too much like they are wearing wigs, the netting on the bassie looks great though. armata_PDT_34.gif

That paint job is very impressive. armata_PDT_34.gif
The splinter camo looks good, and in the final picture I quite like the camo netting.
Must just be the camera on the first few picutres.

Bases are damn fine as well.
Also, what is "TAG"?
Mannerheim sounds very Fantasy Empire-ish.

Thanks for the kind words.
Regarding the camo: I'll have to think of a more structered way of applying it to the vehicles, it looks a bit "all over the place", imo.
The last pict was taken outside while the sun was up, thus the better quality. The others suffered due to flash.

@ Ratling Joe:
Mannerheim:
Mannerheim Line
and
Carl Gustav Emil Mannerheim

TAG: Tactical Assault Group; I wanted to denote the stuff I have atm as a TAG.
Fast in, do lots of damage, get lost.

I'll add more tanks and a recon element to the regiment; I don't know how this will work out in the new codex, though.
The Valkyries look great but unless I can get them as transport options for my storm troopers I'll only get one as I wanna have 6 Sentinels in my FA slots and I already have a Hellhound.
Well, I'll get my 'dex on this weekend so I'll see.

Cool, like the idea of a planet named after a military commander, or a defensive line. And its camo netting, sorry I thought it was decor. armata_PDT_03.gif

They look awesome. No lies.

I REALLY have to ask what material you used for the camo netting. I want to put some snow camo netting on my tanks, and that stuff looks just the part.

I really really like em, honestly. The paint scheme is simple, but really good. The painting is crisp and clean and I honestly like the camo-netting on the sentinels.

The conversions are also worth merit. The Eldar underfoot is hilarious and undoubtably the envy of many a person.

Nothing fancy, just gauze bandage. I found something similar in an Arts&Crafts store. It is more sturdy but I forgot where I put it mad6.gif

I finished my first squad yesterday but it was raining all day so I couldn't get a decent pict. Let's hope for some sun tomorrow.

Very nice! I love the bases for the Sentinels... just very cool.

I have to admit, the first pic had me looking at the Eldar and thinking "That leg is in an odd position." Now I see it was just the angle of the camera.

So...
Here are my color test minis for the army. I'll probably strip them when I'm finished with the rest.
I'm rather pleased about the camo netting; the NMM didn't make the cut, it was just speed painted but it just takes too much time for a whole army (especially IG wacko2.gif ).
