Renegade Servants Of Slaughter Fw List Confusion, Need Clarifacation

Sooo... I'm trying to consider all options for my Renegades & Heretics IG army right now so if I use the FW Renegades & Heretics rules I'd use the Khorne List. But my problem is their is no FAQ for the new IG codex so the Renegades & Heretics list uses OLD RULES! Should I just ignore the old rules that are no longer in the new codex and count the new rules for the appropriate spots or should I grab the old IG codex to solve my problems?

It doesn't really need the guard codex to back it up.

Personally I find the rules to be based half on the old 'dex, half on the new 'dex.
(I.E 0-5 Independant Commissars/Enforcers, but 55pt chimeras)

But it is a completely self-contained codex

That would unfortunately be the wrong list. There's 3 lists: 1 for Khorne, 1 for Nurgle, and 1 Undivided list. I'm doing Khorne list. The problem is that when I look at the Khorne list it has items that it has no rules for like 'trademark item'. It also doesn't say whether or not they have the order system so the Vox option confuses me. Anywho I'm glad this community has quick response time (other forums takes days for any response).

Gah, you're right...

I'd say swap in rules/units from the updated undivided list where appropriate, but okay it with your opponent first (you need to do this anyway with forgeworld list)

Either that or ignore items that have no entry in the new 'dex and use the order system. heck it even refers to it as a company command squad and even the update list doesn't include the 'Senior officer' special rule in the entry

To be honest there doesn't seem to be a 'right' solution

EDIT Ignore Most of what I just said:

the update for undivided says that the vox allows you to re-roll your initial leadership roll.

So no orders for renegades of any denomination

About the 'right' solution I utterly agree. I mean it's like the give you this entire list but leave lots of holes in it i.e. no wargear section, no summary for the wargear, and sometimes just plain giving you things without telling you what it is! That's why I liked the Badab War IA lists. They said things like 'see SM codex' or actually giving you the equipment description. Anywho I'll try and find people on other forums (no offense) who play renegades so they might help me out. But if all else fails I'll just use the regular IG codex.
