Hello All!

Now the Camo Painting Competition is out of the way, I'm returning my attentions to this idea of creating a campaign with the members of this forum.

I've had a think and have spoken with Anarnaxe and believe our best way forward will be for us to create a campaign pack, like Codexes Armageddon and Eye of Terror, in order to see how long creating a good, detailed campaign takes and what it involves well before anyone commits to a Global Campaign!

The basic idea will probably be along the lines of a crusade within a single system, in which the two main forces are Loyalist IG and Traitor IG. The other races/forces in the 40k universe will be taking advantage of the situation of the Imperium in this sector and each will have their own objectives.

However this is a community campaign, not mine, so I plan to contact those members who have already shown a willingness to help in some way and get as many of us working together on this as possible and manageable (too many cooks and all that...). For any members reading this who haven't posted a reply on this topic yet, but would liek to help, please put in a reply stating in which areas you think you would be best suited.

The first area I'm hoping to work on will be the story side of it- background, timeline in relation to 40k canon events, setting, notable characters, race motivations etc and so all those who have shown/will show an interest in helpign with these kind of details can expect a PM from me sometime over the new few days.

As for everyone else, sit tight, if you have offered to help then it will be gratefully received and used at some point, also if any of you have ideas please note them down until a later stage in the development process or post them in this topic, or PM/email me and I'll do my best to co-ordinate people and keep the community informed of whats happening.
