Art Masking Fluid, when you use it to you put it on thick or thin I know its ready when it turns "clear" but do you use a thick or a thin coat?

This is in regards to air brush and regular brush painting.

never heard such thing would work on a airbrush, even in liquid form is quite thick and might clog the airbrush due its rubbery consistency.

use a brush, or a sponge if you want to do battle damage. i prefer to use a thin coat, if you're unsure, another coat under it doesnt seem like a problem.

I might be wrong, but I think he meant how thick does the coat need ot be so an airbrush won't get paint under the masking?

And Lomaxx, I have only ever heard of thin coats (Though that might be relative from person to person) I'm not sure that an airbrush would affect it much differently than a regular brush.

Not looking to run through the airbrush but use the airbrush over the masking fluid. I was just trying to figure out thick or thin coats for the masking fluid.
