Entry Guidelines :

The Painting Tutorial may :

* Be accompanied by a how-to-guide, with comprehensive steps.
* Be a kit , either by Games-Workshop , or another company.
* Be a mix of the above.
* May be a vehicle, or model. If you can, make it Guard-centric, but it need not be so.

The Entered Tutorial May Not :
* Be a tank or model made from carboard instructions. These guides are what YOU do, no someone else.
* Obviously, may not be someone else tutorial.

* Include a Tag , in a minimum of 1 picture. This must state ; “Show Us How Its Done Comp’. 2011. Created By ; +Forum Name+”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unfinished entries may NOT be entered , as by definition a tutorial is completed. It’s only fair , you didn't finish it ! armata_PDT_28.gif

New Tutorials only please. Tutorials that are in the Tutorial Section already are disqualified from entry. But if you have a similar method or topic, you may post that. (Caveat to this: There were two entries from a previous contest that have already been accepted.)

No Picture limit to the tutorials, but the more the better.

Admins and Moderators may enter , but WILL NOT BE eligible to gain lasguns. Admins and Mods will still gain the entry ribbon. Admins and Mods will be elligible for the 10% off bits.

All entries will automatically be entered into the The Tutorial Section

Any entries that break the above rules will automatically be disqualified.

When we get closer to the end date , I'll start an "Entry only" topic , with links to the topics for voting and viewing.

The objective of this competition is to enhance our own modeling and panting knowledge, and to help stimulate a neglected area of our forums.

Good luck

How is everyone proceeding with their tutorial entries?

So far we have previous entries from Major Speirs (Painting Camouflage), Captain Mike (Stripping and Repainting Catachans!), and from me (Making Purity Seals from Real Wax)

I will also accept the tutorial entries from Tebrey and MadBob, unless they have other ideas in mind. PM me if you have a previous tutorial entry already posted and wish to enter that.

REMEMBER, 10% off bits from Imperial Armory for participating in this contest!

So far we have 5 entries in our contest, but I'd like to see more.

Lets see what you have! Post to the Tutorial Section, and PM me to let me know, so I may approve to post.

Also, Remember our sponser, IMPERIAL ARMORY!, who is offering 10% bits for contests entries. That's HUGE.

HALP! Wasn't going to enter this, but I had an awesome brainwave this afternoon and have been testing it since. Not knowing how it would work out, I didn't take photographs or anything. Would it be possible to write and submit my tutorial tomorrow?
