I grow Utricularia aurea, Utricularia gibba, and Utricularia inflata in my 40 gallon planted fish tank. I have 80 watts of light and temp at 75 degrees. They have not been in there all that long, but all the plants are growing well.
I grow Utricularia gibba in my 29 gallon discus tank. I have 40 watts of light and temp is 83 degrees. The Utricularia gibba has not been in this tank long either but is growing incredibly faster in this tank. I will be placing a little of the Utricularia aurea and Utricularia inflata in the discus tank to see how it does when I have enough extra to try. -------------------- |

Depends on where you get them from. By the way anyone know any algecide I can use on Adquatic Utrics and Androvanda?

I'm not sure about dormancy. I guess I better do some homework.
I would not use any algaecide. Algae forms because of extra nutrients in the water. You can always add other plants to help suck up the extra nutrients. I find Pistia stratiotes (Water lettuce) works very well. What do you grow your plants in? You might be able to try something like Ghost Shrimp. They are algae eaters. -------------------- |
