Here my main two tray of sarracenia. Forgive the brown pitchers, they are the result of a major heat wave 6 weeks ago.

Nice looking Sarras Khoas! Sarras are one of the CPs that I have a brown thumb with. They do great for me during the summer, but getting them through dormancy has been fatal 90% of the time for them. So I have to settle for admiring everybody else's.
We had a heat wave last week. Got all the way up to the low 60s. Pretty warm for Colorado this time of year. |

The heatwave of six weeks ago was in the 40 C the maxinium was around 47 C on one day. It cooked quite few of my neps and few of the other groups of CP.

Yeah, that's a bit warm for anything but cactus. We don't usually see anything warmer than 95°F (35°C) for a couple days during the summer here in the mountains. Your heat wave would have wilted the people around here as much as the plants,

It did wilt some of the elderly. A very unusual event here. We are use to heat here.
