Congratulations to imperial ivan!
He has been promoted from Super-Moderator to the status of Co-Administrator. He's the one who convinced me to start this place back up and attempt to bring back it's old glory. He'll likely be around a lot more than me and he's got some great idea's to add to the forum. Again, congrats and give the man a pat on the back, he deserves it. |

As of April 30, 2007, CHS4Life is being given a bit of fresh air. After nearly a year and a half of inactivity, we're bringing this place back! Please bare with us while this forum goes under major reconstruction. Take a look around, register and start posting.
Currently working on/to be updated/added:
-Usergroup modification
-Section reconstruction
-Mass pruning of old/moot threads
-New posting-ranks

Hey, hey everyone!
That's right, 15,000 posts on this forum. Just under two years of up-time, and we've finally reached a Forum Milestone. Whether you're still new or you haven't posted that entirely much, give yourself a pat on the back. You're part of this forum, and that is what really matters.
So everyone, keep this forum going strong and alive. Sometimes it may seem slow, other times it may seem to go by so fast. But people will be here, in the times of need and in the times of boredom.
Let's keep those posts going and make this forum be something!  |

Not exactly a huge update, but significant nonetheless.
As per request of Taylor, I have enabled the "Quick-Reply" option to the bottom of thread screens.
Now, instead of taking that extra time to have a whole seperate page load up, you can click on the "Quick-Reply" and a small box will open up at the bottom of the screen, and you just type and post there.
Quite simple.
I have added to them to all forums, except for one. The only forum that does not have the Quick-Reply is the Debate Room. Sorry, but you still have to take time there and think out your answer. |

Well, Tasku here again, just informing those who actually read these updates, that there are a few new functions on the forum.
As some of you may have noticed, there are a few new tag options when you post. Included in the additions of these new tags are the following:
-ME: If you press this tag, it'll do this: *OniTasku (except your username when you do it)
This is basically an RP, or role-playing, tag. It denotes an action.
-Strike: The text strikethrough option. ex: YAY!!!
-Center Align: Aligns your text in a post to become centered in the page. You can also use this in your signature.
ex: YAY!!!
-Left Align: Aligns your text in a post to go to the left of the page. You can also use this in your signature.
ex: YAY!!!
-Right Align: Aligns your text in a post to go to the right of the page. You can also use this in your signature.
ex: YAY!!!
Well, that's it for now, I'll make a new update if any changes are implimented. |

What does this mean, you ask? Well, I'm setting up a system so that users with over 'X' amount of posts gain certain privelages.
Veteran member (500+ posts)- More PM storage
- Access to 'Veteran Forum' and 'The Roxbury'
- Can open/close own topics, delete own posts, rename own topics
- Can use the 'Search' feature
Super member (1,000+ posts)- The above, plus:
- Even more PM storage
- Can post updates, on the front page
- More comming soon!
This is just a fraction of what we have in store for the upcomming weeks. We're planning on getting some real hosting, which will allow us to do much more with the front page (videos, a picture section that is worth something, downloads, games, etc), along with a real domain (ie www.chs4life.com or something of that matter).
Edit: Alright, I have adjusted this so that you can be promoted to a Vetran member at 500 posts and to a Super member at 1,000 posts. |
